² And behold, there was a large earthquake; for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

⁵¹ Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks fissured open; ⁵² and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, ⁵³ and came out of the graves after His resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared to many.

³ And they said among themselves, "Who shall roll away the stone from the door of the sepulcher for us?" ⁴ Then when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: For it was very large. ⁵ And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were frightened.

² Moreover they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. ³ Then they entered in, and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. ⁴ And it came to pass, as they were greatly perplexed concerning that, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: ⁵ And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead?

¹ The first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the sepulchre early, while it was still dark, and saw the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

¹² And she saw two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had laid. ¹³ And they said to her, "Woman, why do you weep?" She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him."

²⁶ Moreover suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bands were loosed.

¹⁶ And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen among angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

¹² To whom it was revealed that, not for themselves, but to us they ministered these things, which are now reported to you by those that have preached the gospel to you with the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

¹⁹ Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His testament was seen in His temple: And there were lightnings, voices, thunderings, an earthquake, and large hail.
