¹⁰ When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.

¹³ He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;

⁴ O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: For You shall judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.

³ Glory in His holy name: Let the heart of those rejoice who seek the LORD.

¹⁰ Then the angel said to them, "Do not fear: For behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

²⁰ Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told to them.

⁹ And that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy; as it is written, "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, and sing to Your name." ¹⁰ And again he said, "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people." ¹¹ And again, "Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles; and laud Him, all you people." ¹² And again, Isaiah said, "There shall be a root of Jesse, and He that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in Him shall the Gentiles trust." ¹³ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
