⁹⁰ Your faithfulness is to all generations: You have established the earth, and it abides.

⁹ Know therefore that the LORD your God, he is God, the faithful God, which keeps covenant and mercy with those that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

⁴ Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding. ⁵ Who has laid its measures, if you know? Or who has stretched the line on it? ⁶ Whereupon are its foundations fastened? Or who laid the corner stone of it; ⁷ when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

⁵ Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.

¹ Maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever: With my mouth I will make known Your faithfulness to all generations. ² For I have said, "Mercy shall be built up forever: You shall establish Your faithfulness in the very heavens."

¹¹ The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours: As for the world and the fullness of it, You have founded them.

¹ The LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, with which He has girded Himself: The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

⁵ For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures to all generations.

⁵ Who establishes the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed forever.

⁶ He has also established them forever and ever: He has made a decree which shall not pass.

⁴ One generation passes away, and another generation comes: But the earth stays forever.

²⁰ You will perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

⁵ For they are willingly ignorant of this, that by the Word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: ⁶ By which the world that existed back then, being overflowed with water, perished: ⁷ But the heavens and the earth, which are now kept in store by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
