⁵ I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

⁶ And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: And I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

¹⁸ And you shall be secure, because there is hope; yes, you shall dig about you, and you shall take your rest in safety. ¹⁹ Also you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid; yes, many shall make suit to you.

⁸ I will both lay myself down in peace, and sleep: For You alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.
