³ Blow upward the trumpet in the new moon, at the time appointed, on our solemn feast day,

²⁴ speak to the children of Israel, saying, "In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, shall you have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. ²⁵ You shall do no servile work in it: But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD.

¹ And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, ² make you two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shall you make them: That you may use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps. ³ And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to you at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ⁴ And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves to you. ⁵ When you blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward. ⁶ When you blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: They shall blow an alarm for their journeys. ⁷ But when the congregation is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but you shall not sound an alarm. ⁸ And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance forever throughout your generations. ⁹ And if you go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresses you, then you shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and you shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies. ¹⁰ Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.

³ and will make an offering by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet smell to the LORD, of the herd or of the flock:

¹¹ And in the beginnings of your months you shall offer a burnt offering to the LORD; two young bulls, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot;

¹⁵ Seven days shall you keep a solemn feast to the LORD your God in the place which the LORD shall choose: Because the LORD your God shall bless you in all your increase, and in all the works of your hands, therefore you shall surely rejoice.

²³ And he said, "Why will you go to him today? It is neither new moon, nor Sabbath. And she said, "It shall be well.

²⁴ And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: And Obededom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.

⁶ benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

⁴² and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.

⁴ Behold, I build a house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual show-bread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance forever to Israel.

¹² Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brothers, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them a hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets):

¹³ even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the Sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.

¹² And behold, God himself is with us for our captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight you not against the LORD God of your fathers; for you shall not prosper.

¹⁴ And when Judah looked back, behold, the battle was before and behind: And they cried out to the LORD, and the priests sounded with the trumpets.

⁶ With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.

⁶ And He has violently taken away His tabernacle, as if it were a garden: He has destroyed His places of the assembly: The LORD has caused the solemn feasts and Sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and has despised the king and the priest in the indignation of His anger.

¹⁵ Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows: For the wicked shall no longer pass through you; he is utterly cut off.the wicked: In Hebrew, Belial

¹⁶ Therefore let no man judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect to a holy-day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days:
