⁴ For You, LORD, have made me glad through Your work: I will triumph in the works of Your hands.

⁶ You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet:

¹⁰ The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in Him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

¹⁶ Let Your work appear to Your servants, and Your glory to their children.

³¹ The glory of the LORD shall endure forever; the LORD shall rejoice in His works.

³⁴ My meditation to Him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.

⁴⁷ Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks to Your holy name, and to triumph in Your praise. ⁴⁸ Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: And let all the people say, "Amen." Praise the LORD.

³ The LORD has done great things for us; of which we are glad.

⁵ I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I ponder on the work of Your hands.

⁶ And men shall speak of the might of Your frightful acts: And I will declare Your greatness. ⁷ They shall abundantly utter the memory of Your great goodness, and shall sing of Your righteousness.

² to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; ³ to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified. ⁴ And they shall build the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. ⁵ And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. ⁶ But you shall be named the Priests of the LORD: Men shall call you the Ministers of our God: You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory you yourselves shall boast. ⁷ For your shame you shall have double honor; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: Therefore in their land they shall possess the double: Everlasting joy shall be to them. ⁸ "For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. ⁹ And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: All who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD has blessed." ¹⁰ I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. ¹¹ For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

¹³ Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, My servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry: Behold, My servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty: Behold, My servants shall rejoice, but you shall be ashamed: ¹⁴ Behold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.

¹⁰ "Rejoice all of you with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you who love her: Rejoice for joy with her, all you who mourn for her: ¹¹ That you may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that you may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory."

⁷ For thus says the LORD; "Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: All of you publish, all of you praise, and say, 'O LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel.'

¹¹ For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he. ¹² Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: And their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. ¹³ Then the virgin shall rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: For I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

¹⁴ Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. ¹⁵ The LORD has taken away your judgments, He has cast out your enemy: The King of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of you: You shall not see evil any more. ¹⁶ In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, "Fear not": And to Zion, "Let not your hands be slack.

⁴⁷ and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.

²² Therefore you now have sorrow: But I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and no man will take your joy from you.

¹⁴ Now thanks be to God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savor of His knowledge through us in every place.

²⁰ Rejoice over her, you heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets; for God has avenged you on her."
