¹ The song of songs, which is Solomon's. ² Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: For your love is better than wine. ³ Because of the smell of your good ointments your name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love you. ⁴ Draw me, we will run after you: The king has brought me into his chambers: We will be glad and rejoice in you, we will remember your love more than wine: The upright love you. ⁵ I am black, but comely, O you daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon. ⁶ Do not look on me, because I am black, because the sun has looked on me: My mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but I have not kept my own vineyard. ⁷ Tell me, O you whom my soul loves, where do you feed, where do you make your flock to rest at noon: For why should I be as one that turns aside by the flocks of your companions? ⁸ If you do not know, O you fairest among women, go forth your way by the footsteps of the flock, and feed your kids beside the shepherds' tents. ⁹ I have compared you, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh's chariots. ¹⁰ Your cheeks are comely with rows of jewels, your neck with chains of gold. ¹¹ We will make you borders of gold with studs of silver. ¹² While the king sits at his table, my spikenard sends forth its fragrance. ¹³ A bundle of myrrh is my well-beloved to me; he shall lie all night between my breasts. ¹⁴ My beloved is to me like a cluster of henna flowers in the vineyards of Engedi. ¹⁵ Behold, you are fair, my love; behold, you are fair; you have doves' eyes. ¹⁶ Behold, you are fair, my beloved, yes, pleasant: Also our bed is green. ¹⁷ The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.

³² And he spoke three thousand proverbs: And his songs were a thousand and five.

¹ To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that does good.

¹ Now I will sing to my well Beloved a song of my Beloved touching His vineyard. My well Beloved has a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:

²⁶ And his father Isaac said to him, "Come near now, and kiss me, my son." ²⁷ And he came near, and kissed him: And he smelled the smell of his clothing, and blessed him, and said, "See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD has blessed:

¹¹ And Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted up his voice, and wept.

¹⁵ Moreover he kissed all his brothers, and wept upon them: And after that his brothers talked with him.

¹² Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and all you perish from pursuing the way, when His wrath is kindled only a little. Blessed are all those that put their trust in Him.

⁷ How excellent is your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.

³ Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. ⁴ Thus I will bless You while I live: I will lift up my hands in Your name. ⁵ My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips:

⁴ Draw me, we will run after you: The king has brought me into his chambers: We will be glad and rejoice in you, we will remember your love more than wine: The upright love you.

⁴ He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.

¹⁰ How fair is your love, my sister, my spouse! How much better is your love than wine! And the smell of your perfumes than all spices!

¹⁶ His mouth is most sweet: Yes, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

⁶ How fair and how pleasant you are, O love, for delights!

⁹ and the roof of your mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goes down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak.

¹² Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grapes appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: There will I give you my loves.

¹ O that you were as my brother, that sucked the breasts of my mother! When I should find you outside, I would kiss you; yes, I should not be despised. ² I would lead you, and bring you into my mother's house, who would instruct me: I would cause you to drink of spiced wine of the juice of my pomegranate.

⁶ And in this mountain the LORD of hosts shall make a feast of fat things to all people, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

¹ "Ho, everyone who thirsts, all of you come to the waters, and he who has no money; come all of you, buy, and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. ² Why do you spend money for that which is not bread? And your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen to Me diligently, and eat that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

²⁶ And as they ate, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."

²⁰ And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was still a long way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

⁷ And when we had finished our voyage from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.

¹⁴ Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.

¹² And Moses said to the LORD, "See, You say to me, 'Bring up this people': And You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, 'I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.'

¹⁹ And He said, "I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy."

⁵ And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. ⁶ And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, "The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, ⁷ keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, to the third and to the fourth generation."

⁷ You love righteousness, and hate wickedness: Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows. ⁸ All Your garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made You glad.

¹⁴ She shall be brought to the King in clothing of needlework: Her companions, the virgins, that follow her shall be brought to You.

¹⁵ Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound; they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance. ¹⁶ In Your name they shall rejoice all the day long; and in Your righteousness they shall be exalted,

² It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: That went down to the lower hems of his garments;

⁹ Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: So does the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel.

¹ A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.

⁶ Who is this that comes out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant?

⁵ I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, on the handles of the lock.

¹³ His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: His lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh.

⁸ There are three sixty queens, and eighty concubines, and virgins without number.

⁶ For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given: And the government shall be upon His shoulder: And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. ⁷ Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

³ to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified.

⁵ "Behold, the days come", said the LORD, "that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. ⁶ In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: And this is His name by which he shall be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

²¹ And she shall bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS: For He shall save His people from their sins." ²² Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, ²³ "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel", which being interpreted is, "God with us."

¹ "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

³ Then Mary took a pound of very costly ointment of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair: And the house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.

¹⁴ Now thanks be to God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savor of His knowledge through us in every place. ¹⁵ For we are to God a sweet savor of Christ, in those that are saved, and in those that perish: ¹⁶ To the one we are the savour of death leading to death; and to the other the savor of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?

² For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: For I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

⁹ Therefore God has also highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: ¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things on earth, and things under the earth;

¹⁸ But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, a sweet smelling savor, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.

⁴ These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.

⁴ When I remember these things, I pour out my soul within me: For I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept the holy day.

¹⁴ She shall be brought to the King in clothing of needlework: Her companions, the virgins, that follow her shall be brought to You. ¹⁵ With gladness and rejoicing they shall be brought: They shall enter into the King's palace.

⁹ We have thought of Your lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of Your temple.

⁵ My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips:

⁴ Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. ⁵ Sing to the LORD with the harp, with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. ⁶ With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King. ⁷ Let the sea roar, and the fullness of it; the world, and those who dwell in it. ⁸ Let the floods clap their hands: Let the hills be joyful together ⁹ before the LORD; for He comes to judge the earth: With righteousness He shall judge the world, and the people with equity.

¹ A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name. ² Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:

⁴ He has made His wonderful works to be remembered: The LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

³² I will run the way of Your commandments, when You shall enlarge my heart.

⁶⁰ I made haste, and did not delay to keep Your commandments.

² Let Israel rejoice in Him that made him: Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

³ As the apple tree among the trees of the woods, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste. ⁴ He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. ⁵ Sustain me with raisin cakes, comfort me with apples: For I am sick with love.

⁴ It was but a little I passed from them, when I found him whom my soul loves: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her who conceived me.

⁸ He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and He shall take away the rebuke of His people from off all the earth: For the LORD has spoken it.

²⁵ In the LORD all the seed of Israel shall be justified, and shall glory.' "

⁷ I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, and according to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses.

³ The LORD has appeared to me of old, saying, "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

⁴ I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: And I was to them as those that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid up food to them.

¹⁴ Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: Behold, your King comes to you: He is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon a donkey, and upon a colt, the foal of a donkey.

¹⁰ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage: And the door was shut.

¹⁰ Then the angel said to them, "Do not fear: For behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

¹⁹ And He took bread, gave thanks, and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you: Do this in remembrance of Me."

⁴⁴ No one can come to Me, unless the Father which has sent Me draws him: And I will raise him up at the last day.

³² And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Me."

² In My Father's house are many mansions: If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. ³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

¹⁵ So when they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs." ¹⁶ He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My sheep." ¹⁷ He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.

²³ For I have received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: ²⁴ And when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, "Take, eat: This is My body, which is broken for you: Do this in remembrance of Me." ²⁵ In the same manner He also took the cup, when he had sipped, saying, "This cup is the new testament in My blood: This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." ²⁶ For as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you teach the Lord's death until He comes.

⁶ and has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

²⁴ Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

¹² Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. ¹³ For it is God which works in you both to will and to do His good pleasure.

³ For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always: And again I say, Rejoice.

¹ Therefore seeing we also are compassed around with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily entangle us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

⁸ Whom having not seen, you love; in whom, though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with unspeakable joy and full of glory:

⁹ Kings' daughters were among Your honorable women: Upon Your right hand stood the queen in gold of Ophir.

¹⁷ And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: And establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, the work of our hands, You establish it.

⁵ Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

⁴ For the LORD takes pleasure in His people: He will beautify the meek with salvation.

⁷ I charge you, O you daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that you do not stir not, nor awake my love, till he please.

¹⁴ O my dove, that are in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see your countenance, let me hear your voice; for sweet is your voice, and your countenance is graceful.

⁵ I charge you, O you daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that you do not stir up, nor awake my love, till he please.

¹⁰ He made its pillars of silver, the bottom of gold, the covering of it of purple, the middle of it being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem.

³ Your lips are like a thread of scarlet, and your speech is proper: Your temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within your locks.

⁸ I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if you find my beloved, that you tell him, that I am sick with love.

⁴ You are beautiful as Tirzah, O my love, graceful as Jerusalem, formidable as an army with banners.

⁴ I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that you do not stir up, nor awake my love, until he please.

² For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: He has no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.

⁷ All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you: They shall come up on My altar with acceptance, and I will glorify the house of My glory.

¹⁰ I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

¹⁴ And your renown went forth among the heathen for your beauty: For it was perfect through My splendor, which I had put on you", said the Lord GOD.

²⁵ It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call those of his household?

¹¹ But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment:

³⁴ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to you; how often I would have gathered your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!

²² But the father said to his servants, 'Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

¹⁴ But you, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

¹⁰ We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honorable, but we are despised. ¹¹ Even to this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are beaten, and have no certain dwelling place; ¹² and we labor, working with our own hands: Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: ¹³ Being defamed, we entreat: We are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things to this day.

²¹ For He has made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

²⁶ But the Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

²⁶ that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

¹ Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

¹⁹ So those two went until they came to Bethlehem. And it came to pass, when they had come to Bethlehem, that all the city was moved concerning them, and they said, "Is this Naomi?" ²⁰ And she said to them, "Do not call me Naomi, call me Mara: For the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me. ²¹ I went out full, and the LORD has brought me back home empty: Why then do you call me Naomi, seeing the LORD has testified against me, and the Almighty has afflicted me?"

³⁰ My skin is black on me, and my bones are burned with heat.

⁸ I have become a stranger to my brothers, and an alien to my mother's children.

¹¹ Solomon had a vineyard at Baalhamon; he leased out the vineyard to keepers; everyone was to bring a thousand pieces of silver for the fruit of it. ¹² My vineyard, which is mine, is before me: You, O Solomon, must have a thousand, and those that keep the fruit of it two hundred.

²¹ For the hurt of the daughter of my people I am hurt; I am black; astonishment has taken hold of me.

⁶ For even your brothers, and the house of your father, even they have dealt treacherously with you; yes, they have called a multitude after you: Do not believe them, though they speak fair words to you.

⁸ Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: Their skin sticks to their bones; it is withered, it has become like a stick.

⁶ For the son dishonors the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

²² And you shall be hated by all people for My name's sake: But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

³⁵ For I have come to 'set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.' ³⁶ And 'a man's foes shall be those of his own household.'

⁶ But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

⁵¹ Do you suppose that I have come to give peace on earth? I tell you, no; but rather division: ⁵² For from this time forward there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. ⁵³ The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law."

²² confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

²⁹ But as he that was born after the flesh at that time persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

¹⁶ And he said, "I seek my brothers: Tell me, I implore you, where they feed their flocks."

²⁰ And Samuel said to the people, "Fear not: You have done all this wickedness: Yet do not turn aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart; ²¹ and do not turn aside: For then should you go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.

¹ To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD, who spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: And he said, "I will love You, O LORD, my strength.

¹ A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. ² He makes me to lie down in green pastures: He leads me beside the still waters.

¹ A Psalm of David. I will cry to You, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: Lest, if You are silent to me, I become like those that go down into the pit.

¹ To the chief Musician upon Shoshannimeduth, A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You that lead Joseph like a flock; You that dwell between the cherubims, shine forth.

¹ I love the LORD, because He has heard my voice and my supplications.

¹ By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loves: I sought him, but I did not find him. ² I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loves: I sought him, but I did not find him. ³ The watchmen who go about the city found me: To whom I said, "Have you seen him whom my soul loves?" ⁴ It was but a little I passed from them, when I found him whom my soul loves: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her who conceived me.

¹⁰ My beloved is white and ruddy, the most chief among ten thousand.

³ I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine: He feeds among the lilies.

¹³ You who dwell in the gardens, the companions listen to your voice: Cause me to hear it.

²⁰ It shall never be inhabited, from generation to generation neither shall it be dwelled in: Neither shall the Arabian pitch his tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

⁹ With my soul I have desired You in the night; yes, with my spirit within me I will seek You early: For when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

¹¹ He shall feed His flock like a shepherd: He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

¹² Thus says the LORD of hosts; 'Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all its cities, shall be a habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

⁴ And He shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD His God; and they shall abide: For now He shall be great to the ends of the earth.

³⁷ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me: And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

⁶⁷ Then Jesus said to the twelve, "Will you also go away?" ⁶⁸ Then Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. ⁶⁹ And we believe and are sure that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

¹¹ I am the good shepherd: The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

²⁸ And I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. ²⁹ My Father, which gave them to Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand.

¹⁷ He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.

¹⁴ And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness. ¹⁵ And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you also are called into one body; and be thankful. ¹⁶ Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. ¹⁷ And whatever you all do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.you all: In KJV, ye; hence "you all" signifies a plural "you" ¹⁸ Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

⁷ Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious: But to those who are disobedient, "The stone which the builders rejected, the same is made the head cornerstone",

¹⁹ They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: But they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

¹⁷ For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them to living fountains of waters: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."

³ but to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

¹¹ so shall the King greatly desire Your beauty: For He is your Lord; and you worship Him.

¹³ The king's daughter is all glorious within: Her clothing is of formed gold.

³⁴ Blessed is the man that hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

¹⁵ Behold, you are fair, my love; behold, you are fair; you have doves' eyes.

¹⁰ My beloved spoke, and said to me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.

¹ Behold, you are fair, my love; behold, you are fair; you have doves' eyes within your locks: Your hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from Mount Gilead.

⁷ You are all fair, my love; there is no spot in you.

⁹ What is your beloved more than another beloved, O you fairest among women? What is your beloved more than another beloved, that you do so charge us?

¹ Where has your beloved gone, O you fairest among women? Where has your beloved turned aside? That we may seek him with you.

⁴ You are beautiful as Tirzah, O my love, graceful as Jerusalem, formidable as an army with banners. ⁵ Turn away your eyes from me, for they have overcome me: Your hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead. ⁶ Your teeth are as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, every one of which bears twins, and there is not one barren among them. ⁷ As a piece of a pomegranate are your temples within your locks. ⁸ There are three sixty queens, and eighty concubines, and virgins without number. ⁹ My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her who bore her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yes, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her. ¹⁰ Who is she that looks forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and formidable as an army with banners?

¹ How beautiful are your feet with shoes, O prince's daughter! The joints of your thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman. ² Your navel is like a round goblet, which does not lack liquor: Your belly is like a heap of wheat set about with lilies. ³ Your two breasts are like two young gazelles that are twins. ⁴ Your neck is as a tower of ivory; your eyes like the fish pools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: Your nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looks toward Damascus. ⁵ Your head upon you is like Carmel, and the hair of your head like purple; the king is held in the galleries. ⁶ How fair and how pleasant you are, O love, for delights! ⁷ This stature of yours is like a palm tree, and your breasts as clusters of grapes. ⁸ I said, "I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of its boughs": Now also your breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of your nose like apples; ⁹ and the roof of your mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goes down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak. ¹⁰ I am my beloved's, and his desire is towards me. ¹¹ Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages. ¹² Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grapes appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: There will I give you my loves. ¹³ The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for you, O my beloved.

¹⁶ Thus says the LORD, "All of you stand in the roads, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk in it, and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it.'

¹⁵ So when they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."

¹ Be followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

²⁷ that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

¹² That you are not slothful, but followers of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

⁴ By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: And by it he being dead still speaks. ⁵ By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; "and was not found, because God had translated him": For before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. ⁶ But without faith it is impossible to please Him: For he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. ⁷ By faith Noah, being warned by God of things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his house; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. ⁸ By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out into a place which he should afterwards receive as an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going. ⁹ By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: ¹⁰ And he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. ¹¹ Through faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. ¹² Therefore even from just one man, and him as good as dead, were born so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. ¹³ These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them far off, and were persuaded by them, embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. ¹⁴ For those that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. ¹⁵ And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from which they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. ¹⁶ But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly: Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: For He has prepared a city for them. ¹⁷ By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: And he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, ¹⁸ of whom it was said, "In Isaac shall your seed be called": ¹⁹ Concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from where he also received him in parable form. ²⁰ By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. ²¹ By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed both of the sons of Joseph; and worshiped, leaning upon the top of his staff. ²² By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel; and gave commands concerning his bones. ²³ By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months by his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's command. ²⁴ By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; ²⁵ choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; ²⁶ esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: For he had respect for the recompense of the reward. ²⁷ By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: For he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible. ²⁸ Through faith he kept the Passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. ²⁹ By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land: Which the Egyptians attempting to do were drowned. ³⁰ By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed around seven days. ³¹ By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those that did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace. ³² And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and Barak, and Samson, and Jephthah; also of David, and Samuel, and the prophets: ³³ Who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, ³⁴ quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. ³⁵ Women received their dead raised to life again: And others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: ³⁶ And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yes, moreover of chains and imprisonment: ³⁷ They were stoned, they were sawn into parts, were tempted, were slain with the sword: They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; ³⁸ (of whom the world was not worthy): They wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. ³⁹ And all these, having obtained a good report through faith, did not receive the promise: ⁴⁰ God having provided some better thing for us, that they should not be made perfect without us.

⁷ Remember those which have rule over you, who have spoken the Word of God to you: Whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

²¹ Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

²⁵ Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers, and sent them out another way?

¹⁰ My brethren, take the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

⁶ Even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: Whose daughters you are, as long as you do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

⁷ Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to Him: For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." ⁸ And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: For the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

²⁸ And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: The king's merchants received the linen yarn at a price.

¹⁴ And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: And he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, which he placed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem. ¹⁵ And the king made silver and gold at Jerusalem as plenteous as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the valley for abundance. ¹⁶ And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: The king's merchants received the linen yarn at a price. ¹⁷ And they fetched up, and brought forth out of Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty: And so brought they out horses for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, by their means.

² As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.

¹³ the fig tree puts forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grapes give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

² I sleep, but my heart wakes: It is the voice of my beloved that knocks, saying, "Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: For my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night."

¹ Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!

¹⁴ You are My friends, if you do whatever I command you. ¹⁵ From this time forward I do not call you servants; for the servant does not know what his lord does: But I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.

²² And it came to pass, as the camels had finished drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold;

⁴⁷ And I asked her, and said, 'Whose daughter are you?' And she said, 'The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor's son, whom Milcah bore to him': And I put the earring upon her face, and the bracelets upon her hands.

⁴² And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in clothing of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;

⁵⁰ We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man has gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.

⁹ For they shall be an ornament of grace to your head, and necklaces around your neck.

⁹ You have ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; you have ravished my heart with one look of your eyes, with one chain of your necklace.

¹⁸ In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their headscarves, and their round crescents like the moon, ¹⁹ the chains, and the bracelets, and the lower-face veils, ²⁰ the bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the perfume boxes, and the earrings, ²¹ the rings, and nose jewels,

¹¹ I decked you also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon your hands, and a chain on your neck. ¹² And I put a jewel on your forehead, and earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head. ¹³ Thus were you decked with gold and silver; and your clothing was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; you ate fine flour, and honey, and oil: And you were exceeding beautiful, and you did prosper into a kingdom.

⁴ but let it be the hidden woman of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is of great value in the sight of God.

³ even as His divine power has given us accordingly all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue: ⁴ By which are given to us exceedingly great and precious promises: That by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

²⁶ And God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the domestic beasts, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth."

⁹ If she be a wall, we will build on her a palace of silver: And if she be a door, we will enclose her with boards of cedar.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it; ²⁶ that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, ²⁷ that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

²¹ Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able to even subdue all things to Himself.

¹ To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have composed concerning the King: My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

¹³ Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; henna flowers, with spikenard, ¹⁴ spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices: ¹⁵ A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon. ¹⁶ Awake, O north wind; and come, you south; blow on my garden, that its spices may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.

⁵ Your head upon you is like Carmel, and the hair of your head like purple; the king is held in the galleries.

⁴ Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, 'Tell those who are invited, "Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: Come to the marriage." '

³⁴ Then the King shall say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

²⁶ And as they ate, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take, eat; this is My body." ²⁷ Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you; ²⁸ for this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

³ And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at a meal, there came a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment of spikenard; and she broke the box, and poured it on His head.spikenard; the oil of balsam obtained from a plant of the genus Nardus.

³⁰ And it came to pass, as He sat to eat with them, that He took bread, and blessed it, and broke it, and gave to them. ³¹ Now their eyes were opened, and they knew Him; and He vanished out of their sight. ³² And they said one to another, "Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened to us the scriptures?"

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: If any man hears My voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.

³ Then another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. ⁴ And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

¹¹ And their father Israel said to them, "If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:

⁸ All Your garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made You glad.

⁶ Until the daybreak, and the shadows flee away, I will get myself to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.

¹⁴ spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:

¹ I have come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: Eat, O friends; drink, yes, drink abundantly, O beloved.

³ His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me. ⁴ I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that you do not stir up, nor awake my love, until he please.

³⁹ And there also came Nicodemus, who at first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds in weight.

¹⁷ that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

⁶² and Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and Engedi; six cities with their villages.

²⁹ And David went up from there, and dwelled in secure places at Engedi.

¹³ A bundle of myrrh is my well-beloved to me; he shall lie all night between my breasts.

¹³ Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; henna flowers, with spikenard, ¹⁴ spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:

⁸ If you do not know, O you fairest among women, go forth your way by the footsteps of the flock, and feed your kids beside the shepherds' tents.

¹² His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set.

¹⁴ Yet all you say, "Why?" Because the LORD has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously: Yet she is your companion, and the wife of your covenant.

² For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: For I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. ³ But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve through his cunning subtilty, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: ¹⁸ The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

² You are fairer than the children of men: Grace is poured into Your lips: Therefore God has blessed You forever.

³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: You have the dew of Your youth.

⁷ Behold his bed, which is Solomon's; three sixty valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel.

¹⁰ My beloved is white and ruddy, the most chief among ten thousand. ¹¹ His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven. ¹² His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set. ¹³ His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: His lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh. ¹⁴ His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: His belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires. ¹⁵ His legs are as pillars of marble, set on sockets of fine gold: His countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. ¹⁶ His mouth is most sweet: Yes, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

¹⁷ For how great is His goodness, and how great is His beauty! Grain kernels shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the virgins.

⁸ Yes without doubt, and I count all things as loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: For whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as dung, that I may win Christ, ⁹ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

¹¹ Then I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels all around the throne, and the beasts, and the elders: And the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; ¹² saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing." ¹³ And I heard every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, saying, "Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be to Him that sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever."

⁹ So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.

⁸ Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: For I know that your servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and behold, my servants shall be with your servants, ⁹ even to prepare me timber in abundance: For the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.

¹² The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹⁶ the door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries all around on their three stories, in front of the door, paneled with wood all around, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered;

³ Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and in front of the pavement which was for the outermost court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.

¹⁵ But if I tarry long, I write that you may know how you yourselves ought to behave in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. ¹⁶ And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen among angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

¹⁰ And he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

⁴ Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, and precious; ⁵ you also, as lively stones, are built up as a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
