³ Then the LORD shall go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle.

¹ Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and spoke, saying, "I will sing to the LORD, for He has triumphed gloriously: The horse and his rider He has thrown into the sea. ² The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation: He is my God, and I will prepare Him a habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt Him. ³ The LORD is a Man of war: The LORD is His name. ⁴ Pharaoh's chariots and his army He has cast into the sea: His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea. ⁵ The depths have covered them: They sank into the bottom as a stone. ⁶ Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power: Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.

⁴² And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.

¹⁵ and he said, "Listen you, all Judah, an d all you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you king Jehoshaphat, Thus says the LORD to you, Do not be afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

¹ Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? This one who is glorious in His apparel, traveling in the greatness of His strength? "I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save." ² Why are you red in your apparel, and your garments like him who treads in the winefat? ³ "I have trodden the winepress alone; and from the people there was no one with me: For I will tread them in My anger, and trample them in My fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled on My garments, and I will stain all My clothing. ⁴ For the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of My redeemed has come. ⁵ And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold: Therefore My own arm brought salvation to Me; and My fury, it upheld Me. ⁶ And I will tread down the people in My anger, and make them drunk in My fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

¹⁵ For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with His chariots like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. ¹⁶ For by fire and by His sword the LORD will plead with all flesh: And the slain of the LORD shall be many.

³⁴ You saw until a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them to pieces. ³⁵ Then the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, were broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing-floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: And the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

⁴⁴ And in the days of these kings the God of heaven shall set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: And the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. ⁴⁵ In as much as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass in time to come: And the dream is certain, and the interpretation of it sure."

² I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.

⁹ Proclaim this among the Gentiles; "Prepare war", wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: ¹⁰ Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning-hooks into spears: Let the weak say, "I am strong." ¹¹ Assemble yourselves, and come, all you heathen, and gather yourselves together all around: Cause Your mighty ones to come down to that place, O LORD. ¹² Let the heathen be awakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: For there I will sit to judge all the heathen compassed around. ¹³ Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: Come, get down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. ¹⁴ Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. ¹⁵ The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. ¹⁶ The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: But the LORD will be the hope of His people, and the strength of the children of Israel. ¹⁷ "So shall you know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain: Then Jerusalem shall be holy, and no strangers shall pass through her any more.

¹⁹ Behold, at that time I will undo all those that afflict you: And I will save her that limps, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.

²¹ "Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, 'I will shake the heavens and the earth; ²² and I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

⁸ For thus says the LORD of hosts; "After the glory, He has sent me to the nations which plundered you: For he that touches you touches the apple of His eye. ⁹ For behold, I will shake My hand upon them, and they shall be a pillage to their servants: And you all shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me.

¹⁴ And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: And the LORD God shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south. ¹⁵ The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.

⁴ Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together. ⁵ And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: And they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.

² "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the people compassed around, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. ³ And in that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: All that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. ⁴ In that day", says the LORD, "I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: And I will open My eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. ⁵ And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.' ⁶ In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people compassed around, on the right hand and on the left: And Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

⁹ And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

⁴ And another horse went out that was red: And power was given to him that sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: And there was given to him a great sword. ⁵ And when He had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, "Come and see." And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. ⁶ And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, "A measure of wheat for a silver coin, and three measures of barley for a silver coin; and see you do not harm the oil and the wine."A measure: The word choenix signifies a measure containing 1 & 1/12'th wine quarts ⁷ And when He had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, "Come and see." ⁸ Then I looked, and behold a pale horse: And his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given to them over a quarter of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the wild beasts of the earth. ⁹ And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those that were slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held: ¹⁰ And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You not judge and avenge our blood on those that dwell on the earth?" ¹¹ And white robes were given to every one of them; and it was said to them that they should rest for yet a little season, until their fellow-servants and their brethren, that shall also be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. ¹² And I beheld when He opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; ¹³ and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts out her untimely figs, when she is shaken by a mighty wind. ¹⁴ And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. ¹⁵ And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; ¹⁶ and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: ¹⁷ For the great day of His wrath has come; and who shall be able to stand?"

⁷ The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: And a third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. ⁸ Then the second angel sounded, and with all speed a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: And one third of the sea became blood; ⁹ and a third of the creatures in the sea which had life died; and a third of the ships were destroyed. ¹⁰ Then the third angel sounded, and a large star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell upon a third of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; ¹¹ and the name of the star is called Wormwood: And a third of the waters became wormwood; and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter. ¹² Then the fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun was smitten, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars; so that a third of them were darkened, and the day did not shine for a third of it, and likewise the night. ¹³ And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants of the earth because of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!"
