¹¹ Wherefore remember that you were formerly the nations in flesh, those denominated uncircumcision by the nominal circumcision made with hands, in flesh

¹⁵ Remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence, with a strong hand and an outstretched arm; for this cause the Lord thy God hath commanded thee to keep the day of the sabbaths and hallow it.

² and thou shalt keep in remembrance all the way which the Lord thy God led thee in the wilderness, that he might afflict thee, and prove thee, and know what was in thy heart, whether thou wouldst keep his commandments or not.

⁷ Remember; never forget how often thou hast provoked to wrath the Lord thy God, in the wilderness. From the day you came out of Egypt, till your coming to this place, you have gone on in a course of rebellion against the Lord.

¹⁵ and remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that thence the Lord thy God redeemed thee; therefore I command thee to do this thing.

¹² And thou shalt remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt; therefore thou shalt keep, and perform, these commandments.

³⁶ Thy servant hath slain a lion and a bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be like one of them. Shall I not 2:0 and smite him, and remove, this day, a reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised, that he should defy the army of the living God?

¹ Hearken to me ye who are in pursuit of righteousness and who are seeking the Lord. Look at that hard rock which you have been hewing, and into that deep pit which you have digged. ² Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who brought you forth. For he was an individual when I called him; and I blessed him and loved him and multiplied him.

²⁵ Behold days are coming, saith the Lord, when I will visit upon all the uncircumcised, their uncircumcisions ²⁶ Upon Egypt, and upon Idumea, and upon Edom, and upon the Ammonites, and upon the Moabites, and upon all that have their foreheads shaven; namely them who dwell in the wilderness. Because all the nations are uncircumcised in flesh, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in their hearts;

⁶¹ then thou wilt recollect thy way and be ashamed, when thou hast again received thy sisters; the elder and the younger. For I will give them to thee to be part of thy family, but not by thy covenant. ⁶² And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord, ⁶³ that thou mayst remember and be ashamed, and never more be able to open thy mouth, because of thy confusion when I make a complete atonement for thee according to all that thou hast done, saith the Lord.

⁴³ and you will there remember your ways and your devices with which you have been polluted, and express contrition for all your acts of wickedness;

³¹ Then will you call to remembrance your evil ways, and your devices which were not good; and in their sight be grieved for your iniquities and your abominations.

²⁸ For he is not a Jew, who is one outwardly; nor is that circumcision, which is barely in the flesh: ²⁹ but he, who is a Jew inwardly, whose circumcision is that of the heart"spiritually not literally, whose praise is not from men, but from God.

¹¹ Now such some of you were; but, you have washed yourselves; but you are hallowed, but you are acquitted by the name of the Lord Jesus and by the spirit of our God.

² You know that you were Gentiles carried away to dumb idols just as you were led.

¹⁵ We who are by nature Jews, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

⁸ At the time indeed [a] An objection. [b] The answer. when you knew not God, you as slaves served things which are in reality.no gods; ⁹ but now when you know God, or rather when God hath owned you, how turn ye again to those weak and beggarly elements to which you degradingly desire again to be in bondage as before.

¹² As many as are desirous of making a figure in flesh, these are constraining you to be circumcised, only that they may avoid being persecuted for the cross of the Christ

⁸ For you were formerly darkness, but being now a light in the Lord, walk as children of light

³ for we are the circumcision, who serve God in spirit, and glory in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in flesh.

²¹ hath now therefore brought you, who were for a time alienated, and enemies in your minds by wicked works, to a state of reconcilement

¹¹ in whom also you have been circumcised with a circumcision made without hands; with the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh; with the circumcision of the Christ;

¹³ When you were dead in the trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh he raised you to life with him. Having freely forgiven you all those trespasses

¹¹ where there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, scythian, bondman, freeman, but the all, and in all, Christ;
