² And on the fifteenth day of the second month after their coming out of Egypt all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron.

⁴ But before they went to rest, the men of the city, the Sodomites, surrounded the house, both young and old; all the people in a body.

¹¹ and said to Moses, Was it because there were no graves in the land of Egypt, that thou hast brought us out to die in the wilderness? Why hast thou dealt thus with us in bringing us out of Egypt?

²⁴ And the people murmured against Moses and said, What are we to drink?

⁷ Our fathers minded not thy wonders in Egypt, they did not remember the multitude of thy mercies. Though in coming up they were refractory at the Red sea,

¹³ they soon forgot his works, they waited not for his counsel.

²⁵ but murmured in their tents; and hearkened not to the voice of the Lord:

¹⁰ nor murmur ye, as some of them murmured and were destroyed by the destroyer.
