¹² I have still many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.

³³ And with many such parables he spake the word to them as they were able to hear it:

³⁰ I will not discourse much more with you, for the; chieftain of this world is coming, and hath nothing to do with me;

¹⁵ I no longer call you servants; because the servant doth not know what his master doth. But I have called you friends, because I have made known to you all that I heard from my Father.

³ and to whom he had, after his suffering, shewn himself to be alive, by many proofs, during forty days appearing to them, and speaking of what concerned the kingdom of God.

¹ Now with regard to myself, I could not, brethren, speak to you as spiritual, but as carnal men, as babes in Christ. ² I fed you with milk, and not with strong food, because you were not arrived at strength; nor are you indeed yet strong, even now.

¹¹ concerning whom we have much to say, but not easy to be explained as you are slow of apprehension. ¹² For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need of some one to teach you over again the first elements of the oracles of God, and have need of milk and not strong food: 13 for every one who useth milk is unskilled in the doctrine of justification, for he is a babe,

¹⁴ and this strong food is for full grown men, who by long practice and exercise have their senses improved for the discernment of both good and evil.
