²⁰ He sent forth his word and healed them; and delivered them from their destructions. ²¹ O let them praise the Lord for his mercies, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men; ²² and let them offer him a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and publish his works with joy.

¹⁶ Lord I am thy servant; I am thy servant and the son of thy handmaid. Thou hast burst my bonds asunder: ¹⁷ to thee I will offer a sacrifice of praise and call on the name of the Lord.

²³ and intreateth him earnestly, saying, My little daughter is at the point of death, pray come and lay thy hands on her that she may be cured, and she will live.

⁵ So he could not perform any miracle there, save that he laid his hands on a few sick persons and healed them.

²⁵ Then he laid his hands on his eyes again, and made him look up. And his sight was restored, and he saw them all clearly.

¹⁸ they will take up serpents: though they drink deadly poison, it shall not hurt them: upon sick persons they will lay their hands, and they shall recover.

⁴⁰ And when the sun was set, all that had any sick of any kind of disease, brought them to him; and he, laying his hands on every one of them, healed them.

⁴³ And instantly he received his sight, and followed him, praising God. And all the people, when they saw this, gave praise to God.

¹⁷ So Ananias went and entered the house, and having laid his hands on him, said, Brother Saul, The Lord, even Jesus who appeared to thee on the road as thou camest, hath sent me that thou mayst recover sight and be filled with a holy spirit.
