⁵² Thereupon Jesus said to him, Go thy way. Thy faith hath cured thee. And instantly he recovered his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

⁹ for he spake and they were brought into being: he commanded and they were created.

⁸ The Lord looseth them who were bound. The Lord causeth the blind to see clearly. The Lord raiseth up them who were broken down. The Lord loveth the righteous.

¹⁸ And in that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book, and they in darkness, even they in thick darkness; the eyes even of the blind shall see; ¹⁹ and the distressed shall exult with joy because of the Lord; and the disconsolate among men shall be filled with joy.

⁵ Then shall be opened the eyes of the blind; and the ears of the deaf will hear.

¹⁶ and lead the blind in a way which they know not, and cause them to walk in paths which they have not known. For them I will make the darkness light, and the crooked ways a straight road. These things 1 will do, and I will not forsake them: ¹⁷ but as for them they have turned backwards! be whelmed in shame, ye who trust in graven images; who say to the molten images, ye are our gods. ¹⁸ [p] Hear, ye deaf; and ye blind, look up that you may see:

²² And Jesus turned about and when he saw her, said, Daughter, take courage; thy faith hath cured3 thee. And from that instant the woman was cured.

²⁸ And when he went into the house, the blind men came to him. And Jesus saith to them, Do you believe that I can do this? They say to him, Yes, master. ²⁹ Then he touched their eyes, saying, According to your belief, be it to you. ³⁰ Whereupon their eyes were opened. Then Jesus restrained them, saying, See that none know this.

⁵ Blind men see, and lame walk. Lepers are cleansed and deaf hear. Dead are raised and poor have glad tidings proclaimed to them.

²² Then there was brought to him a demoniac, blind and dumb, and he healed him, so that he who was blind and dumb both spake and saw.

²⁸ Thereupon Jesus in reply said to her, O woman, great is thy faith; Be it to thee as thou desirest. And from that instant her daughter was healed.

¹⁴ Then the blind and the lame came to him in the temple and he healed them.

³¹ whereupon he went to her, and taking hold of her hand, raised her up, and instantly the fever left her, and she waited on them.

³⁴ Whereupon he said to her, Daughter, thy faith hath cured thee. Go in peace, and continue cured of that disorder of thine.

²⁵ Then he laid his hands on his eyes again, and made him look up. And his sight was restored, and he saw them all clearly.

⁴⁸ and said to them, Whoever will receive this child for my name, receiveth me; and whoever receiveth me, receiveth him who sent me. For he who is least among you all, even he shall be great.

⁵ While I am in the world, I am the light of the world. ⁶ Having said this he spat on the ground, and made some clay with the spittle, and spread the clay on the blind man's eyes, ⁷ and said to him, Go, wash them at the pool of Siloam [the meaning, of which is Sent.] So he went and washed them and returned seeing.

³² From the beginning of the world it was never heard that any one opened the eyes of one born blind.

³⁹ Then Jesus said, I am come into this world for judgment that they who do not see may see, and that they who see may become blind;

¹⁸ to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of satan to God, that they may receive a remission of sins and an inheritance among them who are sanctified by the belief in me.
