³⁸ Then John addressed him, saying, Teacher, we saw one who doth not accompany us, casting out demons in thy name, and we forbade him, because he doth not accompany us. ³⁹ Whereupon Jesus said, Forbid him not, for there is no one who will do a miracle in my name, and be readily able to speak evil of me.

⁴⁹ Then John addressing him, said, Master, we saw one casting out the demons in thy name, and we forbade him because he doth not follow [thee] with us. ⁵⁰ Thereupon Jesus said to him, Forbid not; for he who is not against us is for us.

¹⁹ Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world stand convicted before God.
