²⁸ Above the horse gate the priests repaired every man over against his house:

¹⁶ therefore they laid hands on her and went out into the street leading from the king's house to the horse gate, and she was slain there.

¹⁵ therefore they opened a passage for her, and when she had gone out through the horse gate, of the king's house, they put her to death there.
