⁷ Now the manna was like a grain of coriander, and its colour was the colour of chrystal,

¹² and the gold of that country is good. There also is the carbuncle and the Prasian stone.

¹⁴ behold on the face of the wilderness something small like coriander, white like hoar frost, on the ground! ¹⁵ And when the Israelites saw this they said one to another, What is this? for they did not know what it was. Upon which Moses said to them. This is the bread which the Lord hath given you to eat.

³¹ Now the Israelites called its name Manna. It was like coriander seed. It was white; and its taste was like a cake made with honey.

²³ as for us, we proclaim a crucified Christ; to the Jews indeed a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness; ²⁴ but to them who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God;

¹⁷ Let him who hath an ear hear what the spirit saith to the congregations. To him who overcometh I will grant to eat of the manna which was laid up; and I will give him a white stone, and on that stone a new name written, which no one knoweth but he who receiveth it.
