¹² I wisdom have inhabited counsel and knowledge; and I have made an appeal to understanding.

³ and filled him with a divine spirit of wisdom and understanding and knowledge in every kind of workmanship, ⁴ to contrive and execute as a master carpenter; and to manufacture gold and silver and brass, and blue and purple and scarlet yarn; ⁵ and to cut stones; and in works of architecture made of wood to execute all kinds of workmanship. ⁶ Him I have given with Eliab the son of Achisamach of the tribe of Dan. And to every man of an understanding heart have given wisdom and they will make all that I have commanded thee;

³⁰ then Moses said to the children of Israel, Behold God hath called by name Beseleel the son of Ourius the son of Hur of the tribe of Judas

¹⁴ He was of the tribe of Nephthaleim, though his father was a Tyrian. He was a worker in brass, a complete artist, filled with understanding and knowledge to execute all kinds of brass work. So he was brought to king Solomon, and executed all his works.

¹² and the plan which he had in his mind of the courts of the house of the Lord, and of all the chambers round about; those for store houses for the house of the Lord; and of the depositories for the holy things, and the lodging rooms;

¹⁹ All these David gave to Solomon in a drawing of the hand of the Lord, according to the knowledge given him of the workmanship of the model.

¹⁴ And when Juda looked back behold the battle was both in front and in the rear. Thereupon they cried to the Lord, and the priests sounded the trumpets,

²⁴ How manifold are thy works, Lord, with wisdom thou hast done them all. The earth is filled with thy creatures;

⁴ that he might give sagacity to the innocent; and to the youth knowledge and discretion:

²⁶ So thou shalt be corrected by the judgment of God; and be made glad.

⁸ For my counsels are not as your counsels: nor are my ways as your ways, saith the Lord. ⁹ But distant as the heaven is from the earth, so is my way distant from your ways; and your thoughts from my understanding.

³³ O the depth of the riches, and of the wisdom, and of the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways not to be traced out!

⁸ in which he hath abounded for us

¹¹ by whom we, [having been previously marked out in a determinate manner, according to the purpose of him who effecteth all things according to the counsel of his will] were made his inheritance,

¹⁰ in order that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly kingdom, by means of the congregation,

³ in which are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
