² Let Israel rejoice in his maker; and the children of Sion exult in their king.

⁶ For thou art a people dedicated to the Lord thy God, and the Lord thy God hath chosen thee, to be a peculiar people to himself, in preference to all the nations which are on the face of the earth. ⁷ It was not because you were the most numerous of all the nations, that the Lord preferred you, and made choice of you; for you are the fewest of all the nations:

⁷ and you shall eat there before the Lord your God, and rejoice with your households, for all your possessions, and the labours of your hands, as the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.

²² for the Lord will not cast off his people for his great name's sake: for the Lord hath in mercy taken you for his people.

¹⁰ but none said, where is the God who made me;

⁶ O sing praises to our God; sing praises. Sing praises to our king; sing praises.

⁶ O come, let us worship and bow down before him, and let us weep before the Lord, our maker.

¹ A Psalm of praise. Shout triumphantly for the Lord, all ye of the land. ² Serve the Lord with gladness. Come before him with the shout of joy. ³ Know that the Lord is very God: he made us and not we ourselves: we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

³ Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good; with instruments of musick praise his name; for it is good. ⁴ For the Lord hath made choice of Jacob for himself; of Israel for his peculiar treasure.

⁷ like beauty on the mountains; like the feet of one proclaiming peace, like one proclaiming glad tidings. Because I will cause thy salvation to be proclaimed, Saying, Sion, thy God will reign;

⁵ thou shalt remember no more. For the Lord who is thy maker, whose name is the Lord of Hosts; even he who delivered thee, shall be called the God of Israel, in the whole earth.

¹¹ For lo! the Lord hath published this to the end of the earth. Say to the daughter of Sion, Behold the Saviour is come for thee, having his own reward and his work before him. ¹² And he will call this a holy people, redeemed by the Lord; and thou shalt be called the city sought and not forsaken.

²³ rejoice therefore, ye children of Sion and exult in the Lord your God: for he hath given you this food for righteousness, and he will distil upon you the former and the latter rain as heretofore.

⁹ Rejoice exceedingly, O daughter of Sion! Make proclamation, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold thy king is coming for thee. He is righteous and a saviour. He is meek and mounted on an ass, even a young colt.

⁵ "Say to the daughter of Sion, Behold thy king cometh to thee, meek and mounted on an ass; even on a young colt the foal of an ass."

³⁴ Then the king will say to them on his right, Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom which hath been prepared for you from the formation of the world:

²⁷ And as for those enemies of mine who would not have me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence.

³⁸ saying, Blessed be the king who is coming in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!

¹⁵ Whereupon they cried out, Away, away with him; crucify him. Pilate saith to them, Shall I crucify your king? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

¹⁹ Now Pilate had written a label and put it on the cross, and the writing was this, Jesus The Nazarine, The King Of The Jews. ²⁰ This label therefore many of the Jews read; for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and the inscription was in Hebrew and Greek and Latin. ²¹ Wherefore the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, Write not The king of the Jews, but, that he said, I am the king of the Jews. ²² Pilate answered, What I have written, I have written.

³ for we are the circumcision, who serve God in spirit, and glory in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in flesh.

⁶ And I heard as it were a voice of a great multitude and as a sound of many waters, and as it were a peal of mighty thunder saying, Alleluia. Because the Lord God the Omnipotent reigneth,
