⁵ thy testimonies are firmly established. Holiness becometh thy house, Lord; to the utmost extent of days.

³ Whereupon Moses said to Aaron, This is what the Lord spoke, saying, I will be hallowed by them who come near me, and glorified by all the congregation; and Aaron was pierced with anguish.

² Speak to the congregation of the children of Israel; and thon shalt say unto them, You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.

⁴ Because thou art not a God pleased with iniquity; therefore he who is wicked cannot dwell near thee: ⁵ nor shall transgressors continue in thy presence. Thou Lord, hatest all the workers of iniquity: ⁶ thou wilt destroy all them who speak lies; a bloody and deceitful man the Lord abhorreth. ⁷ As for me, I through thine abundant mercy, will go to thy house: I will worship before thy holy temple, in thy fear.

⁷ The law of the Lord is perfect, it restoreth souls: The testimony of the Lord is faithful, it maketh infants wise. ⁸ The statutes of the Lord are right, they rejoice the heart. The commandment of the Lord is clear, it enlighteneth the eyes.

² Offer to the Lord, glory to his name. worship the Lord in his holy court.

⁵ Extol the Lord our God; and bow at his footstool; for he is holy.

⁹ Extol the Lord our God and worship on his holy hill: for the Lord our God is holy.

¹¹¹ I have taken thy testimonies for an everlasting inheritance: for they are the joy of my heart.

¹²⁹ PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful; therefore my soul sought them diligently.

¹³⁸ Thou hast strictly enjoined as thy testimonies, righteousness and truth.

¹⁴⁴ thy testimonies are everlasting righteousness; give me understanding and I shall live.

²⁰ For he hath given a law for assistance; that they may not speak like such an oracle as this, which is not worth the giving of gifts for it.

¹¹ [J] Depart, depart; come out thence, and touch no polluted thing. Come out from the midst of her; be clean, ye who carry the vessels of the Lord.

²⁰ In that day there shall be on the bridle of the horse, "Holy to the Lord Almighty." And the kettles in the house of the Lord shall be like the bowls before the altar. ²¹ And every kettle in Jerusalem and in Juda shall be holy to the Lord Almighty. And all that sacrifice will come and take of them and boil in them. And there shall no more be a Chananite in the house of the Lord Almighty in that day.

³⁵ The heaven and the earth shall fail; but my words shall not fail.

²⁴ God is Spirit; and they who worship him ought to worship him in spirit and truth.

¹⁶ Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? ¹⁷ If any one corrupt the temple of God, him God will destroy; for the temple of God is holy.

¹⁷ God, willing on this occasion to shew more fully to the heirs of this promise the immutability of his determination, interposed an oath, ¹⁸ that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to deceive, there might be strong consolation for us who have fled to take hold of this proffered hope,

¹⁴ Follow peace with all men, and that holiness without which none shall see the Lord,

⁹ if we admit the testimony of men the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God, which he hath testified concerning his son. ¹⁰ He who believeth in the son of God hath this testimony in himself: he who doth not believe God, impeacheth his veracity, because he believeth not the testimony which God hath given concerning his son. ¹¹ Now this is the testimony, that God hath given us everlasting life, and this life is by his son: ¹² he who hath the son hath this life: he who hath not the son of God hath not this life. ¹³ These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the son of God, that you may know that you have everlasting life; and that you may believe in the name of the son of God:

²⁷ And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing which defileth or maketh an abomination or [uttereth] a lie; none but they who are enrolled in the Lamb's book of life.
