¹³ And when the dragon saw that he was cast on the earth he persecuted the woman who had brought forth the masculine child;

¹⁵ And I will put enmity between thee and the woman; and between thy seed and her seed. He will wound thy head, and thou wilt wound his heel."

¹² The sinner may watch the righteous, and gnash his teeth at him; ¹³ but the Lord will laugh him to scorn, for he foreseeth that his day will come. ¹⁴ The sinners drew the sword; they bent their bow, to overthrow the afflicted and needy; to slay the upright in heart.

³³ These things I have spoken to you, that you may have peace in me. In this world you will have trouble; but take courage: I have overcome the world.

³ And another sign was seen in heaven and behold! a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns and on his heads seven crowns; ⁴ and his tail dragged the third part of the stars of heaven and threw them on the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was in labour, that when she brought forth he might devour her child. ⁵ And she brought forth a masculine son who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron.
