⁸ And when he took the book, the four animate beings and the four and twenty elders fell down before the lamb, having, every of them, kitharas and golden cups full of incense which is the prayers of the saints.

² Praise the Lord with the kithara; with the ten stringed psaltery sing praises to him.

⁴ Let me go to the altar of God; to God, the joy of my youth. With a kithara, I will praise thee, God, my God.

² Take a psalm and bring a tympanum; the sweet sounding psaltery with a kithara.

² let my prayer come before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as an evening sacrifice.

³ praise him with the sounding trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and kithara:

²³ that all may honour the Son, as they honour the Father. He who honoureth not the Son, doth not honour the Father, who sent him.

¹⁰ Why then judgest thou thy brother, or why despisest thou thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of the Christ; ¹¹ For it is written, "As I live, saith the Lord, to me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall give praise to God." ¹² Since every one of us then shall give an account of himself to God,

⁹ wherefore God highly exalted him, and granted him a name which is above every name, ¹⁰ that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those beneath the earth; ¹¹ and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the father.

⁶ And again when he would bring the first born into the world, he saith, "And let all God's messengers worship him.

⁴ And around the throne there were four and twenty thrones; and on the thrones I saw the four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

⁸ And the four animate beings had, each of them six wings around and underneath they were full of eyes. And they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!

¹⁰ the four and twenty elders are to prostrate themselves before him who is seated on the throne, and to worship him who liveth for the ages of the ages, and to cast their crowns before the throne saying,

⁶ Then I looked and behold in the midst of the throne and of the four animate beings and in the midst of the elders stood a lamb as if it had been slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

¹⁴ And the four animate beings said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him who liveth for the ages of the ages.

¹⁰ and they cried with a loud voice, saying, "To our God who is sitting on the throne and to the Lamb be ascribed this salvation!" ¹¹ Whereupon all the angels who stood around the throne and the elders and the four animate beings prostrated themselves before the throne and worshipped God, ¹² saying, "Amen! the blessing and the glory and the wisdom and the thanks and the honour and the power and the majesty be to our God for ages of the ages! Amen."

³ And another angel came and stood by the altar, having a golden censer: and to him much incense was given, that he might offer it, for the prayers of all the saints, upon the golden altar which is before the throne. ⁴ And when the smoke of the incense for the prayers of the saints ascended from the hand of the angel before God,

² And I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of musicians playing on their kitharas ³ and singing as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four animate beings, and the elders; and no one could learn the song, but the hundred and forty four thousand who had been redeemed from the earth.

² And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire, and them who were victorious over the beast and over its image and over the number of its name, standing at the glassy sea having the musical instruments of God;

⁷ And one of the four animate beings gave the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God who liveth for the ages of the ages.

⁴ And the four and twenty elders and the four animate beings fell down and worshipped God who sat on the throne, saying, Amen. Alleluia.
