¹¹ Now I am to be in this world no longer, but they are still to be in the world, and I am to come to thee. Holy Father, keep them by that revelation of thy Name which thou has given me, that they may be one, as we are.

⁴⁸ You, then, must become perfect--as your heavenly Father is perfect.

⁹ You, therefore, should pray thus--'Our Father, who art in Heaven, May thy name be held holy,

¹⁶ Remember, I am sending you out as my Messengers like sheep among wolves. So be as wise as serpents, and as blameless as doves.

³³ On which Jesus said: "I shall be with you but a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.

²⁹ What my Father has entrusted to me is more than all else; and no one can snatch anything out of the Father's hands. ³⁰ The Father and I are one."

¹ Before the Passover Festival began, Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave the world and go to the Father. He had loved those who were his own in the world, and he loved them to the last.

³ And at supper, Jesus--although knowing that the Father had put everything into his hands, and that he had come from God, and was to return to God--

²⁰ At that time you will recognize that I am in union with the Father, and you with me, and I with you.

¹⁸ If the world hates you, you know that it has first hated me. ¹⁹ If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own. Because you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world--that is why the world hates you. ²⁰ Remember what I said to you--'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have laid my Message to heart, they will lay yours to heart also. ²¹ But they will do all this to you, because you believe in my Name, for they do not know him who sent me.

²⁸ I came out from the Father, and have come into the world; and now I am to leave the world, and go to the Father."

³³ I have spoken to you in this way, so that in me you may find peace. In the world you will find trouble; yet, take courage! I have conquered the world."

¹² Whilst I was with them, I kept them by that revelation, and I have guarded them; and not one of them has been lost, except that lost soul--in fulfillment of Scripture. ¹³ But now I am to come to thee; and I am speaking thus, while still in the world, that they may have my own joy, in all its fullness, in their hearts. ¹⁴ I have given them thy Message; and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world, even as I do not belong to the world. ¹⁵ I do not ask thee to take them out of the world, but to keep them from Evil. ¹⁶ They do not belong to the world, even as I do not belong to the world. ¹⁷ Consecrate them by the Truth; thy Message is Truth. ¹⁸ Just as thou has sent me as thy Messenger to the world, so I send them as my Messengers to the world.

²¹ That they all may be one--that as thou, Father, art in union with us--and so the world may believe that thou hast sent me as thy Messenger. ²² I have given them the honor which thou has given me, that they may be one as we are one--

²⁵ O righteous Father, though the world did not know thee, I knew thee; and these men knew that thou has sent me as thy Messenger.

⁹ No sooner had Jesus said this than he was caught up before their eyes, and a cloud received him from their sight. ¹⁰ While they were still gazing up into the heavens, as he went, suddenly two men, clothed in white, stood beside them, ¹¹ And said: "Men of Galilee, why are you standing here looking up into the heavens? This very Jesus, who has been taken from you into the heavens, will come in the very way in which you have seen him go into the heavens."

²¹ But Heaven must be his home, until the days of the Universal Restoration, of which God has spoken by the lips of his holy Prophets from the very first.

¹⁷ In Scripture, again, it is said to Pharaoh-'It was for this very purpose that I raised thee to the throne, to show my power by my dealings with thee, and to make my name known throughout the world.'

⁵ So we, by our union in Christ, many though we are, form but one body, and individually we are related one to another as its parts.

⁵ And may God, the giver of this patience and this encouragement, grant you to be united in sympathy in Christ, ⁶ So that with one heart and one voice you may praise the God and Father of Jesus Christ, our Lord.

¹⁰ But I appeal to you, Brothers, by the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree in what you profess, and not to allow divisions to exist among you, but to be united-of one mind and of one opinion.

¹² For just as the human body is one whole, and yet has many parts, and all its parts, many though they are, form but one body, so it is with the Christ; ¹³ For it was by one Spirit that we were all baptized to form one Body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free men, and were all imbued with one Spirit.

²⁸ All distinctions between Jew and Greek, slave and freeman, male and female, have vanished; for in union with Christ Jesus you are all one.

⁴ There is but one Body and one Spirit, just as there was but one hope set before you when you received your Call.

⁹ And that is why God raised him to the very highest place, and gave him the Name which stands above all other names,

³ For he is the radiance of the Glory of God and the very expression of his Being, upholding all creation by the power of his word; and, when he had made an expiation for the sins of men, he 'took his seat at the right hand' of God's Majesty on high,

²⁴ For it was not into a Sanctuary made by human hands, which merely foreshadowed the true one, that Christ entered, but into Heaven itself, that he might now appear in the presence of God on our behalf.

⁴ Unfaithful people! Do not you know that to be friends with the world means to be at enmity with God? Therefore whoever chooses to be friends with the world makes himself an enemy to God.

⁵ for you who, through faith, are being guarded by the power of God, awaiting a Salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last days.

¹⁵ but in your whole life show yourselves to be holy, after the pattern of the Holy One from whom you received your Call. ¹⁶ For Scripture says-- 'You shall be holy, because I am holy.' ¹⁷ And since you call upon him as 'Father,' who judges every one impartially by what he has done, let reverence be the spirit of your lives during the time of your stay upon earth.

¹² We must not be like Cain, who belonged to the Evil One and killed his brother. And why did he kill him? It was because his life was bad while his brother's was good.

¹⁹ We realize that we come from God, while all the world is under the influence of the Evil One.

¹ To those who, having received the Call, have been loved by God the Father and protected by Jesus Christ, From Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and the brother of James.

²⁴ To him who is able to guard you from falling, and to bring you into his glorious presence, blameless and rejoicing-

⁸ These four Creatures have each of them six wings, and all round, and within, they are full of eyes; and day and night they never cease to say-- 'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord, our God, the Almighty, who was, and who is, and who shall be.'

⁴ Who will not reverence and praise thy Name, O Lord? Thou alone art holy! All nations will come and worship before thee, for thy judgments have become manifest.'
