¹¹ So let it be with you-regard yourselves as dead to sin, but as living for God, through union with Christ Jesus.

³¹ But these have been recorded that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God--and that, through your belief in his Name, you may have Life.

¹ Therefore, having been pronounced righteous as the result of faith, let us enjoy peace with God through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

² Heaven forbid! We became dead to sin, and how can we go on living in it?

¹³ Do not offer any part of your bodies to Sin, in the cause of unrighteousness, but once for all offer yourselves to God (as those who, though once dead, now have Life), and devote every part of your bodies to the cause of righteousness.

²³ The wages of Sin are Death, but the gift of God is Immortal Life, through union with Christ Jesus, our Lord.

¹⁸ I do not count the sufferings of our present life worthy of mention when compared with the Glory that is to be revealed and bestowed upon us.

²⁷ To him, I say, the wise and only God, be ascribed, through Jesus Christ, all glory for ever and ever. Amen.

⁷ Then the Peace of God, which is beyond all human understanding, will stand guard over your hearts and thoughts, through your union with Christ Jesus.

³ For you died, and your Life now lies hidden, with the Christ, in God. ⁴ When the Christ, who is our Life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. ⁵ Therefore destroy all that is earthly in you--immorality, uncleanness, passions, evil desires, and that greed which is idolatry.

¹⁷ And, whatever you say or do, do everything in the Name of the Lord Jesus; and through him offer thanksgiving to God the father.

⁵ and, as living stones, form yourselves into a spiritual House, to be a consecrated Priesthood, for the offering of spiritual sacrifices that will be acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

¹¹ When any one speaks, let him speak as one who is delivering the oracles of God. When any one is endeavoring to serve others, let him do so in reliance on the strength which God supplies; so that in everything God may be honour ed through Jesus Christ--to whom be ascribed all honour and might for ever and ever. Amen.
