²⁹ But he sayde vnto hym thou knowest what seruyce I haue done ye and in what takynge thy catell haue bene vnder me:

⁵ And Bilha conceaued and bare Iacob a sonne.

⁶ And ye knowe how that I haue serued youre father with all my myghte.

³⁸ This xx. yere yt I haue bene wyth the thy shepe and thy gootes haue not bene baren and the rammes of thi flocke haue I not eate. ³⁹ What soeuer was torne of beastes I broughte it not vnto ye but made it good mysilf: of my hade dydest thou requyre it whether it was stollen by daye or nyghte ⁴⁰ Moreouer by daye the hete consumed me and the colde by nyghte and my slepe departed fro myne eyes.

⁴⁵ If there be any faithfull servaut and wyse whome his master hath made ruler over his housholde to geve the meate in season covenient:

⁵ Servautes be obedient vnto youre carnall masters with feare and trimblinge in singlenes of youre hertes as vnto Christ: ⁶ not wt service in ye eye sight as men pleasars: but as the servautes of Christ doynge ye will of God fro the herte ⁷ with good will servinge ye Lorde and not men. ⁸ And remember that whatsoever good thinge eny man doeth that shall he receave agayne of the Lorde whether he be bonde or fre.

²² Servauntes be obedient vnto youre bodyly masters in all thynges: not with eye service as men pleasers but in synglenes of herte fearynge god. ²³ And whatsoever ye do do it hertely as though ye did it to the lorde and not vnto men for as moche as ye ²⁴ knowe that of the lorde ye shall receave the rewarde of inheritaunce for ye serve the lorde Christ. ²⁵ But he that doth wronge shall receave for the wronge that he hath done: for there is no respect of persons.

⁹ The servautes exhorte to be obediet vnto their awne masters and to please in all thynges not answerynge agayne ¹⁰ nether be pickers but that they shewe all good faythfulnes that they maye do worshippe to ye doctryne of oure saveoure God in all thynges.

¹⁵ For so is the will of god that ye put to sylence the ygnorancie of the folyshe men:
