⁶ And he sayed: heare my wordes. Yf there be a prophet of the Lordes amonge you I will shewe my selfe vnto him in a vision and will speake vnto him in a dreame:

⁴ and the man whose eye is open hath sayed: he hath sayed which heareth the wordes of God and seeth the visions of the allmightie which falleth downe and his eyes are opened.

¹⁶ and he hath sayed that heareth the wordes of God and hath the knowlege of the most hye and beholdeth ye vision of the allmightie and when he falleth downe hath his eyes opened.

⁹ And as they came doune from the mountayne Iesus charged them sayinge: se yt ye shewe the vision to no man vntyll the sonne of man be rysen ageyne from deeth.

¹⁷ Whyle Peter mused in him selfe what this vision which he had sene meant beholde the men which were sent from Cornelius had made inquirance for Simons housse and stode before the dore.

¹⁹ Wherfore kynge Agrippa I was not disobedient vnto the hevenly vision:

¹ It is not expediet for me (no dout to reioyce. Neverthelesse I will come to visions and revelacios of ye lorde.

²¹ For the scripture came never by the will of man: but holy men of god spake as they were moved by the holy goost.

³¹ ad in the wildernesse: as thou hast sene how that the Lorde thy God bare the as a man shulde beare his sonne, thorow out all the waye which ye haue gone, vntill ye came vnto this place.

⁷ For what nacyon is so greate that hath Goddes so nye vnto hym: as the Lorde oure God is nye vnto vs, in all thinges, when we call vnto hym? ⁸ Yee, and what nacyon is so greate that hath ordinaunces and lawes so ryghtuousse, as all thys lawe whiche I sett before you this daye.

²⁶ I call heauen and erth to recorde vnto you this daye, that ye shall shortely peressh from of the londe whether ye goo ouer Iordayne to possesse it: Ye shall not prolonge youre dayes therin, but shall shortly be destroyed.

²² Also at Thabeera and at Masa and at the sepulchres of lust ye angred the Lorde, yee ²³ ad when the Lorde sent you from Cades Bernea sayenge: goo vpp and conquere the lond whiche I haue geuen you, ye disobeyed the mouth of the Lorde youre God, and nether beleued hi nor herkened vnto his voyce. ²⁴ Thus ye haue bene disobediet vnto the Lord, sence the daye that I knew you.

¹⁹ I call to recorde this daye vnto you, heauen and erth, that I haue sett before you lyfe and deeth, blessynge and cursynge: but chose lyfe, that thou and thi seed maye lyue,

¹ Heare o heauen, what I shall speake and heare o erth the wordes of my mouth.

²⁰ For we canot but speake that which we have sene and hearde.

¹ What preferment then hath the Iewe? other what a vauntageth circumcision? ² Surely very moche. Fyrst vnto them was committed the worde of God

⁴ which are the Israelites. To whom pertayneth the adopcion and the glorie and the covenauntes and the law that was geven and the service of God and the promyses: ⁵ whose also are the fathers and they of whome (as concernynge the flesshe) Christ came which is God over all thinges blessed for ever Amen.

²⁸ For it is a nacion that hath an vnhappy forcast, and hath no vnderstonge in them. ²⁹ I wolde they ware wyse and vnderstode this ad wolde consider their later ende.

¹³ Therfore speake I to them in similitudes: for though they se they se not: and hearinge they heare not: nether vnderstonde. ¹⁴ And in the is fulfilled ye Prophesie of Esayas which prophesie sayth: with the eares ye shall heare and shall not vnderstonde and with the eyes ye shall se and shall not perceave. ¹⁵ For this peoples hertes are wexed grosse and their eares were dull of herynge and their eyes have they closed lest they shulde se with their eyes and heare with their eares and shuld vnderstonde with their hertes and shuld tourne that I myght heale them.

⁵ This they knowe not (and that willyngly) how that the hevens a great whyle ago were and the erth that was in the water appered vp out of the water by the worde of god:

¹³ But the men of sodome were wyked and synned exceadyngly agenst the LORde.

¹⁴ And beholde ye are rysen vp in youre fathers stede the encrease of synfull men to augmente the ferse wrath of the Lorde to Israel warde.

¹⁶ And the Lorde sayed vnto Moses: beholde, thou must slepe with thi fathers, and this people will goo a whorynge after straunge goddes off the londe whother they goo and will forsake me and breake the appoyntement which I haue made with them.

²⁸ Come vnto me all ye that laboure and are laden and I wyll ease you.

³³ Yee serpentes and generacion of vipers how shuld ye scape ye dapnacio of hell?

⁵¹ Ye stiffenecked and of vncircumcised hertes and eares: ye have all wayes resisted the holy goost: as youre fathers dyd so do ye. ⁵² Which of the prophetes have not youre fathers persecuted? And they have slayne them which shewed before of the commynge of that iust whom ye have now betrayed and mordred.

⁷ Because that the flesshly mynde is emnyte agaynst God: for it is not obedient to the lawe of God nether can be.

²² Ether shall we provoke the lorde? Or are we stronger then he? All thynges are laufull vnto me but all thynges are not expedient.

²⁴ Now ioye I in my soferinges which I suffre for you and fulfill that which is behynde of the passions of Christ in my flesshe for his bodies sake which is the congregacion

⁵ For her synnes are gon vp to heven and God hath remembred her wyckednes.

⁵ And ye have forgotten the consolacion which speaketh vnto you as vnto chyldren: My sonne despyse not the chastenynge of the Lorde nether faynt when thou arte rebuked of him: ⁶ For whom the Lorde loveth him he chasteneth: yee and he scourgeth every sonne that he receaveth. ⁷ Yf ye endure chastninge God offereth him selfe vnto you as vnto sonnes. What sonne is that whom the father chasteneth not? ⁸ If ye be not vnder correccio (where of all are part takers) then are ye bastardes and not sonnes.

⁴³ The straungers that are amonge you shall clyme aboue the vpp an hye, ad thou shalt come doune beneth alowe.

³² And he sayde: O let not my LORde be angrye that I speake yet but eue once more only. What yf ten be founde there?. And he sayde: I will not destroy the for .x. sake.

²⁴ Than the LORde rayned vpon Sodome and Gomorra brymstone and fyre from the LORde out of heaven

²³ how all the londe is burnt vpp with bremstone and salt, that it is nether sowne nor beareth nor any grasse groweth, after the ouertrowenge of Sodome, Gomor, Adama ad Zeboim: which the Lorde ouerthrewe in his wrath and angre.

¹⁴ Beware of false Prophetes which come to you in shepes clothinge but inwardly they are ravenynge wolves.

²⁹ And even the same daye that Lot went out of Zodom it rayned fyre and brymstone from heven and destroyed them all. ³⁰ After these ensamples shall it be in the daye when the sonne of man shall appere.

²⁷ But Esaias cryeth concernynge Israel though the nomber of the chyldren of Israel be as the sonde of the see yet shall a remnaut be saved.

²⁹ And as Esaias sayd before: Except the Lorde of sabaoth had left us seede we had bene made as Zodoma and had bene lykened to Gomorra.

⁴ But what sayth the answer of god to him agayne? I have reserved vnto me seven thousande men which have not bowed the knee to Baal. ⁵ Even so at this tyme ys ther a remnanaunt lefte thorow the eleccion of grace. ⁶ Yf it be of grace the is it not of workes. ¹⁶ Thre tymes in the yere shall al youre males appere before the Lorde thi God in the place which he shal chose: In the feast of swete bred, in the feast of wekes and in the booth feast. And they shal not appere before the Lorde emptie:

⁵ All their workes they do for to be sene of me. They set abroade their philateries and make large borders on there garmetes

¹⁶ The first daye shall be a holie feast vnto you, and the .vij. also. There shal be no maner off worke done in the, saue aboute that only which euery man must eate that only may ye do.

¹ And the Lorde spake vnto Moses saynge: ² speake vnto the childern of Israel, and saye vnto them. These are the feastes off the Lorde which ye shal call holy feastes. ³ Sixe dayes ye shall worke, ad the seuenth is the Sabbath of rest an holy feast: so that ye maye do no worke therein, for it is the Sabbath of the Lorde, wheresoeuer ye dwell. ⁴ These are the feastes of the Lorde whiche ye shall proclayme holy in their ceasons. ⁵ The xiiij. daye of the first moneth at eue is the Lordes Passeouer, ⁶ And the .xv. daye of the same moneth is the feast of swete bred vnto the Lorde: vij. dayes ye must eate vnleuended bred. ⁷ The first daye shalbe an holy feaste vnto you, so that ye maye do no laborious worke therein ⁸ But ye shall offer sacrifices vnto the Lord .vij dayes, and the seuenth daye also shalbe an holy feast, so that ye maye doo no laborious worke therein. ⁹ And the Lorde spake vnto Moses sayenge: ¹⁰ speake vnto the childern of Israell and saye vnto them: when ye be come in to the lande whiche I geue vnto you and repe doune youre haruest, ye shall brynge a shefe of the first frutes of youre haruest vnto the preast, ¹¹ and he shall waue the shefe before the Lorde to be accepted for you: and euen the morow after the Sabbath the preaste shall waue it. ¹² And ye shall offer the daye when he waueth the shefe, a labe without blemysh of a yere olde for a burntofferynge vnto the Lorde: ¹³ and the meatoffrynge thereof, two tenth deales of fine floure mengled with oyle to be a sacrifice vnto the Lorde of a swete sauoure: and the drinkofferinge thereto, the fourth deale of an hin of wyne. ¹⁴ And ye shall eate nether bred, nor parched corne, nor furmentye of new corne: vntyll the selfe same daye that ye haue broughte an offrynge vnto youre God. And this shalbe a lawe for euer vnto youre childern after you, where soeuer ye dwell. ¹⁵ And ye shall counte from the morowe after the Sabbath: euen from the daye that ye broughte the sheffe of the waueoffrynge, vii. wekes complete: ¹⁶ euen vnto the morow after the .vij. weke ye shall numbre .l. dayes. And the ye shal bringe a newe meatoffrynge unto the Lorde. ¹⁷ And ye shall brynge out of youre habitacions two waueloaues made of two tenthdeales off fine floure leuended and baken, for first frutes vnto the Lorde. ¹⁸ And ye shall bringe with the bred seuen lambes without deformyte of one yere of age, and one yonge oxe and .ij. rambes, which shall serue for burntoffrynges vnto the Lorde, with meatoffringes and drinkoffringes longinge to the same, to be a sacrifice of a swete sauoure vnto the Lorde. ¹⁹ And ye shall offer an he goote for a synneofferinge: and two lambes of one yere old for peaceoffringes, ²⁰ And the preast shall waue the with the bred of the first frutes before the Lorde, and with the two lambes. And they shalbe holy vnto the Lorde, and be the preastes. ²¹ And ye shall make a proclamacio the same daye that it be an holy feast vnto you, and ye shall do no laborious worke therein: And it shalbe a lawe for euer thorowe out all youre habitacions vnto youre childern after you, ²² When ye repe doune youre haruest, thou shalt not make cleane ryddaunce off thy felde, nether shalt thou make any aftergatheringe of thy haruest: but shalt leue them vnto the poore and the straunger. I am the Lorde youre God. ²³ And the Lorde spake vnto Moses saynge: ²⁴ speake vnto the childern of Israel ad saye. The first daye of the suenth moneth shalbe a rest of remembraunce vnto you, to blowe hornes in an holy feast it shalbe, ²⁵ and ye shall do no laborious worke therein, and ye shall offer sacrifice vnto the Lorde. ²⁶ And the Lorde spake vnto Moses sayenge: ²⁷ also the tenth daye of the selfe seueth moneth, is a daye of an attonement, and shalbe on holy feast vnto you, ad ye shall humble youre soules and offer sacrifice vnto the Lorde. ²⁸ Moreouer ye shall do no worke the same daye, for it is a daye of attonement to make an attonemet for you before the Lord your God. ²⁹ For what soeuer soule it be that humbleth not him selfe that daye, he shalbe destroyde from amonge his people. ³⁰ And what soeuer soule do any maner worke that daye, the same I will destroye from amonge his people. ³¹ Se that ye do no maner worke therfore. And it shalbe a lawe for euer vnto youre generacions after you in all youre dwellynges. ³² A sabbath of reste it shalbe vnto you, and ye shall humble youre soules. The .ix. daye of the moneth at euen and so forth from eue to euen agayne, ye shall kepe your Sabbath. ³³ And the Lorde spake vnto Moses sayenge: ³⁴ speake vnto the childern of Israel ad saye: the xv. daye of the same seuenth moneth shalbe the feast of tabernacles .vij. dayes uto the Lorde. ³⁵ The first daye shalbe an holy feast, so that ye shall do no laborious worke therein. ³⁶ Seuen dayes ye shall offer sacrifice vnto the Lorde, and the .viij daye shalbe an holy feast vnto you ad ye shall offer sacrifice vnto the Lorde. It is the ende of the feast, and ye shall do no laborious worke therein. ³⁷ These are the feastes of the Lorde whiche ye shall proclayme holy feastes, for to offer sacrifice vnto the Lorde, burntofferynges, meatofferynges, and drinkoffrynges euery daye: ³⁸ besyde the sabbathes of the Lorde, ad besyde youre giftes, and all youre vowes, and all your frewillofferynges whiche ye shall geue vnto the Lorde. ³⁹ Moreouer in the .xv. daye of the seuenth moneth after that ye haue gathered in the frutes of the lande, ye shall kepe holy daye vnto the Lorde .vij: dayes longe. The first daye shall be a daye of reste, and the .viij. daye shalbe a daye of rest. ⁴⁰ And ye shall take you the first daye, the frutes of goodly trees and the braunches off palme trees and the bowes of thicke trees, ad wylowes of the broke, and shall reioyse before the Lorde .vij. dayes. ⁴¹ And ye shall kepe it holy daye vnto the Lorde .vij. dayes in the yere. And it shalbe a lawe for euer vnto youre childern after you, that ye kepe that feast in the seuenth moneth. ⁴² And ye shall dwell in bothes seuen dayes: euen all that are Israelites borne, shall dwell in bothes, ⁴³ that youre children after you maye knowe howe that I made the childern of Israel dwell in bothes, when I broughte them out of the lande of Egipte: for I am the Lorde youre God. ⁴⁴ And Moses told all the feastes of the Lorde vnto the childern of Israel.

¹ And the Lorde spake vnto Moses sayenge: ² geue ye childern of Israel a charge and saye vnto them that they take hede to offer vnto me ye offryng of my bred in the sacrifyce of swete sauoure in his due season. ³ And saye vnto the. This is ye offerynge which ye shall offer vnto ye Lorde .ij. labes of a yeare olde with out spot daye by daye to be a burntofferynge perpetually. ⁴ One lambe thou shalt offer in the mornynge and ye other at euen ⁵ And thereto ye teth parte of an Epha of floure for a meatofferynge myngled with beten oyle the fourth parte of an hin: ⁶ which is a dayly offerynge ordened in the mount Sinai vnto a swete sauoure in the sacrifyce of ye Lorde. ⁷ And the drynkofferynge of the same: the fourth parte of an hin vnto one lambe and poure the drynkofferynge in the holy place to be good drynke vnto the Lorde. ⁸ And ye other lambe thou shalt offer at euen with the meatofferynge and the drynkofferynge after ye maner of the mornynge: a sacrifyce of a swete sauoure vnto the Lorde. ⁹ And on the Sabbath daye .ij. lambes of a yere olde a pece and with out spot and two tethdeales of floure for a meatofferynge myngled with oyle and the drynkofferynge thereto. ¹⁰ This is the burntofferynge of euery Sabbath besides the dayly burntofferynge and his drynkofferynge. ¹¹ And in the first daye of youre monethes ye shall offer a burntofferynge vnto the Lorde: two yonge bollockes and a ram and .vij. lambes of a yere olde without spott ¹² and .iij. tethdeales of floure for a meatofferynge mingled with oyle vnto one bollocke and .ij. tethdeales of floure for a meatofferynge myngled with oyle vnto one ra. ¹³ And euer moare a tethdeale of floure myngled with oyle for a meatofferinge vnto one labe. That is a burntofferynge of a swete sauoure in the sacrifyce of the Lorde. ¹⁴ And their drynkofferynges shalbe halfe an hin of wyne vnto one bollocke ad the thyrde parte of an hin of wyne vnto a ram and the fourth parte of an hin vnto a lambe. This is the burntofferynge of euery moneth thorow out all the monethes of the yere: ¹⁵ and one he goote for a synofferynge vnto the Lorde which shalbe offered with the dayly burntofferynge and his drynkofferynge. ¹⁶ And the .xiiij. daye of the first moneth shalbe Passeouer vnto the Lorde. ¹⁷ And ye .xv. daye of the same moneth shalbe a feast in which vij. dayes men must eate vnleueded bred ¹⁸ The first daye shalbe an holy feast so that ye shall do no maner of laboryous worke therein. ¹⁹ And ye shall offer a burntofferynge vnto the Lorde .ij. bollockes one ram and .vij. lambes of a yere olde without spott ²⁰ and their meatofferynge of floure myngled with oyle .iij. tenthdeales vnto a bollocke and .ij. tenthdeales vnto a ram ²¹ and euermoare one tenthdeale vnto a lambe thorow out the .vij. lambes: ²² and an hegoote for a synofferynge to make an atonement for you. ²³ And ye shall offer these besyde the burntofferynge in ye mornynge that is allway offered. ²⁴ And after this maner ye shall offer thorow out the .vij. dayes the fode of the sacrifice of swete sauoure vnto the Lorde. And it shalbe done besyde the dayly burntofferynge and his drynkofferynge. ²⁵ And the seuenth daye shall be an holy feast vnto you so that ye shall doo no laboryous worke therein. ²⁶ And the daye of youre first frutes when ye brynge a new meatofferynge vnto the Lorde in youre wekes shalbe an holy feast vnto you: ²⁷ so that ye shall doo no laboryous worke therein. And ye shall offer a burntofferynge of a swete sauoure vnto the Lorde .ij. younge bollockes and a ram and .vij. lambes of a yere olde a pece ²⁸ with their meatofferynges of floure myngled with oyle .iij. tenthdeales vnto a bollocke .ij. tenth deales to a ram ²⁹ ad euer moare one tenthdeale vnto a lambe thorow out the .vij. lambes

¹ Obserue the moneth of Abyb, and offer passeover vnto the Lorde thi God. For in the moneth of Abib, the Lorde thy God brought the out of Egipte by nyght. ² Thou shalt therfore offer passeover vnto the Lorde thi God, and shepe and oxen in the place which the Lorde shall chose to make his name dwell there. ³ Thou shalt eate no leueded bred there with: but shalt eate there with the bred of tribulacio .vij. dayes loge. For thou camest out of the lode of Egipte in hast, that thou mayst remembre the daye when thou camest out of the londe of Egipte, all dayes of thi life. ⁴ And se that there be no leuended bred sene in all thi costes .vij. dayes longe, and that there remayne nothinge of the flesh which thou hast offered the fyrst daye at euen, vntil the mornynge. ⁵ Thou mayst not offer passeover in any of thi cities which the Lord thi god geueth the: ⁶ But in the place which the Lorde thi God shall chose to make his name dwell in, there thou shalt offer Passeouer at euen aboute the goyngdoune of the sonne, euen in the season that thou camest out of Egipte. ⁷ And thou shalt seth and eate in the place which the Lorde thi God hath chosen, and departe on the morowe and gette the vnto thi tente. ⁸ Sixe dayes thou shalt eate swete bred, and the seuenth daye is for the people to come together to the Lorde thi God, that thou mayst do no worke. ⁹ Then reken the .vij. wekes, and begynne to reke the .vij. wekes when the syccle begynneth in the corne, ¹⁰ and kepe the feast of wekes vnto the Lorde thi God, that thou geue a frewilofferinge of thine hade vnto the Lord thi God acordinge as the Lorde thi God hath blessed the. ¹¹ And reioyse before the Lorde thi God both thou, thi sonne, thi doughter, thi seruaunte and thi mayde, and the leuite that is within thi gates, and the straunger, the fatherlesse ad the wedowe that are amonge you, in the place which the Lorde thi God hath chosen to make his name dwel there. ¹² And remebre that thou wast a seruaute in Egipte, that thou obserue and doo these ordinaunces. ¹³ Thou shalt obserue the feast of tabernacles vij. dayes longe, after that thou hast gathered in thi corne and thi wyne. ¹⁴ And thou shalt reioyse in that thi feast, both thou and thi sonne, thi doughter, thi seruaunte, thi mayde, the leuite, the straunger, the fatherlesse and the wedowe that are in thi cities. ¹⁵ Seuen dayes thou shalt kepe holy daye vnto the Lorde thi God, in the place which the Lorde shal chose: for the Lorde thi God shall blesse the in all thi frutes and in all the workes of thine handes, and thou shalt be all together gladnesse. ¹⁶ Thre tymes in the yere shall al youre males appere before the Lorde thi God in the place which he shal chose: In the feast of swete bred, in the feast of wekes and in the booth feast. And they shal not appere before the Lorde emptie: ¹⁷ but euery ma with the gifte of his honde, acordynge to the blessinge of the Lorde thi God which he hath geuen the. ¹⁸ Ivdges and officers thou shalt make the in all thi cities which the Lorde thi God geueth the thorow out thi trybes. and lett the iudge the people righteously. ¹⁹ Wrest not the lawe nor knowe any persone nether take any rewarde: for giftes blynde the wise and peruerte the wordes of the righteous. ²⁰ But in all thinge folowe righteousnesse, that thou mayst lyue and enioye the londe which the Lord thi God geueth the. ²¹ Thou shalt plante no groue of what soeuer trees it be, nye vnto the altare of the Lorde thi God which thou shalt make the. ²² Thou shalt sett the vpp no piler, which the Lorde thy God hateth.

⁹ but in vayne they worshippe me teachinge doctrines whiche are nothing but mens precepts.

⁴² But wo be to you Pharises for ye tithe the mynt and rewe and all manner erbes and passe over iudgment and the love of God. These ought ye to have done and yet not to have left the other vndone.

¹⁷ This I warne you of and commende not that ye come to gedder: not after a better maner but after a worsse.

³⁰ And greve not the holy sprete of God by whome ye are sealed vnto the daye of redempcion.

¹⁵ Some ther are which preache Christ of envie and stryfe and some of good wyll.

⁷ Be ye not lyke them therfore. For youre father knoweth wherof ye haue neade before ye axe of him.

¹³ Wo be vnto you Scribes and Pharises ypocrites for ye shutte vp the kyngdome of heve before men: ye youre selves goo not in nether suffre ye them that come to enter in.

²⁵ When the good man of ye housse is rysen vp and hath shett to the dore ye shall beginne to stonde with out and to knocke at the dore sayinge: Lorde lorde open vnto vs: and he shall answer and saye vnto you: I knowe you not whence ye are. ²⁶ Then shall ye begin to saye. We have eaten in thy presence and dronke and thou hast taught in oure stretes. ²⁷ And he shall saye: I tell you I knowe you not whence ye are: departe from me all ye workers of iniquite. ²⁸ There shalbe wepinge and gnasshinge of teth when ye shall se Abraham and Isaac and Iacob and all the prophetes in the kyngdom of God and youre selves thrust oute at dores.

⁸ I wyll therfore that the men praye every where liftynge vp pure hondes without wrath or dowtinge.

⁸ Brynge forth therfore the frutes belongynge to repentauce.

¹⁶ And now: why tariest thou? Aryse and be baptised and wesshe awaye thy synnes in callinge on ye name of ye Lorde.

⁹ Let love be wt out dissimulacion. Hate that which is evyll and cleave vnto that which is good.

¹ Seynge that we have soche promeses derely beloved let vs clense oure selves from all fylthynes of the flesshe and sprete and growe vp to full holynes in ye feare of God.

²² So then as concernynge the coversacion in tyme past laye from you that olde ma which is corrupte thorow the deceavable lustes ²³ and be ye renued in the sprete of youre myndes ²⁴ and put on that newe man which after the ymage of God is shapen in ryghtewesnes and true holynes. ²⁵ Wherfore put awaye lyinge and speake every man truth vnto his neghbour for as moche as we are members one of another. ²⁶ Be angrye but synne not let not the sonne go doune apon your wrathe ²⁷ nether geue place vnto ye backbyter. ²⁸ Let him yt stole steale no moare but let him rather laboure with his hondes some good thinge that he maye have to geve vnto him that nedeth. ²⁹ Let no filthy comunicacion procede out of youre mouthes: but yt whych is good to edefye with all when nede ys: that it maye have faveour with the hearers.

¹¹ For the grace of god that bryngeth saluacion vnto all men hath appered ¹² and teacheth vs that we shuld denye vngodlynes and wordly lustes and that we shuld live sobre mynded righteously and godly in this present worlde ¹³ lokinge for that blessed hope and glorious apperenge of ye myghty god and of oure savioure Iesu Christ ¹⁴ which gave him silfe for vs to redeme vs from all vnrightewesnes and to pourge vs a peculiar people vnto him silfe fervently geven vnto good workes.

⁸ Drawe nye to god and he will drawe nye to you. Clense youre hondes ye synners and pourdge youre hertes ye waverynge mynded.

¹ Wherfore laye asyde all maliciousnes and all gyle and dissimulacion and envie and all backbytynge:

¹¹ Let him eschue evyll and do good: let him seke peace and ensue it.

¹⁴ And I sayde vnto him: lorde thou wottest. And he sayde vnto me: these are they which cam oute of gret tribulacion and made their garmetes large and made them whyte in the bloud of the lambe:

² And Paul as his maner was went in vnto them and thre saboth doyes declared oute of the scripture vnto them

⁴ And he preached in ye synagoge every saboth daye and exhorted the Iewes and the gentyls.

²⁵ And as he preached of righteousnes temperauce and iudgement to come Felix trembled and answered: thou hast done ynough at this tyme departe when I have a conveniet tyme I will sende for the.

²⁰ But ye lawe in the meane tyme entred in yt synne shuld encreace. Neverthelater where aboundaunce of synne was there was more plenteousnes of grace.

⁶ to ye prayse of the glorie of his grace where with he hath made vs accepted in the beloved. ⁷ By whom we have redemption thorow his bloude euen the forgevenes of synnes accordynge to the riches of his grace ⁸ which grace he shed on vs aboundantly in all wisdome and perceavaunce.

¹⁵ Beholde I haue sett before you this daye lyfe and good, deeth and euell: ¹⁶ in that I commaunde the this daye to loue the Lorde thi God and to walke in his wayes and to kepe his commaundementes, his ordynaunces and his lawes: that thou mayst lyue and multipye, and that the Lorde thy God man blesse the in the londe whother thou goest to possesse it.

²⁸ What saye ye to this? A certayne man had two sonnes and came to ye elder and sayde: sonne go and worke to daye in my vineyarde. ²⁹ He answered and sayde I will not: but afterwarde repented and went. ³⁰ Then came he to the second and sayde lyke wyse. And he answered and sayde: I will syr: yet wet not. ³¹ Whether of the twayne dyd the will of the father? And they sayde vnto hym: the fyrst. Iesus sayde vnto the: verely I saye vnto you that the publicans and the harlotes shall come into ye kyngdome of God before you. ³² For Iohn came vnto you in the waye of rightewesnes and ye beleved hym not. But the publicans and the harlotes beleved him. And yet ye (though ye sawe it) were not yet moved with repentaunce that ye myght afterwarde have beleved hym.

⁹ and was made parfaite and the cause of eternall saluacion vnto all them that obey him:

³³ And I will strawe you amonge the heethen, and will drawe out a swerde after you, and youre lande shalbe wast, and youre cities desolate.

¹⁹ The Lorde is not a ma that he can lye nether the sonne of a ma that he can repent: shulde he saye and not doo or shulde he speake and not make it good?

² vpon the hope of eternall lyfe which lyfe God that cannot lye hath promised before the worlde begane:

¹ Wherfore we ought to geve ye more hede to ye thinges we have herde lest we perysshe. ² For yf the worde which was spoke by angels was stedfast: so yt every trasgressio and disobediece receaved a iust recopece to rewarde: ³ how shall we escape yf we despyse so great saluacio which at ye fyrst bega to be preached of ye lorde him silfe and afterwarde was cofermed vnto vs warde by the ye hearde it

³⁴ O Ierusalem Ierusalem which kyllest prophetes and stonest them that are sent to ye: how often wolde I have gadered thy childre to gedder as the hen gathereth her nest vnder her wynges but ye wolde not.

⁵² Which of the prophetes have not youre fathers persecuted? And they have slayne them which shewed before of the commynge of that iust whom ye have now betrayed and mordred.

²² But ye are come vnto the moute Sion and to the citie of the livinge god the celestiall Ierusalem: and to an innumerable sight of angels

² And then was geven me a rede lyke vnto a rodd and it was sayd vnto me: Ryse and mete the temple of god and the aultre and them that worshippe therin

¹⁷ For we are not as many are which choppe and chaunge with the worde of God: but even oute of purenes and by the power of God and in the sight of God so speake we in Christ.

⁸ Thou shalt take no giftes, for giftes blynde the seynge and peruerte the wordes of the righteous.

¹³ and sayde to them: It is wrytten my housse shalbe called the housse of prayer. But ye have made it a denne of theves.

¹⁷ And he taught sayinge vnto them is it not written: my housse shalbe called the housse of prayer vnto all nacions? But ye have made it a deen of theves.

² sayinge: Ther was a Iudge in a certayne cite which feared not god nether regarded man. ³ And ther was a certayne wedowe in the same cite which came vnto him sayinge: avenge me of myne adversary. ⁴ And he wolde not for a whyle. But afterwarde he sayd vnto him selfe: though I feare not God nor care for man ⁵ yet because this wedowe troubleth me I will avenge her lest at the laste she come and hagge on me.

⁴⁶ sayinge vnto them yt is written: my housse is the housse of prayer: but ye have made it a den of theves.

⁵ And it chaunsed on the morowe that their rulars and elders and Scribes ⁶ as Annas the chefe Prest and Cayphas and Iohn and Alexander and as many as were of ye kynred of the hye prestes gadered to geder at Ierusalem ⁷ and set the other before them and axed: by what power or what name have ye done this syrs? ⁸ Then Peter full of ye holy goost sayd vnto them: ye rulars of the people and elders of Israel ⁹ yf we this daye are examined of the good dede done to the sycke man by what meanes he is made whoale: ¹⁰ be yt knowen vnto you all and to the people of Israel that in the name of Iesus Christ of Nazareth whom ye crucified and whom God raysed agayne from deeth: even by him doth this man stonde here present before you whoale. ¹¹ This is ye stone cast a syde of you bylders which is set in the chefe place of the corner.

⁶³ And as the Lorde reioysed ouer you to do you good and to multiplye you: euen so he will reioyse ouer you, to destroye you and to brynge you to nought. And ye shabe wasted from of the lande whother thou goest to enioye it,

⁴³ Reioyse hethen wyth hys people, for he wyll auenge the bloude off his servauntes, and wyll auenge hym off hys aduersaryes, and wilbe mercyfull vnto the londe off hys people.

¹³ and from hence forth tarieth till his foes be made his fotestole.

⁸ Therfore shall her plages come at one daye deeth and sorowe and honger and she shallbe brent with fyre: for stronge ys the lorde god which iudgeth her.

¹² which hath also his fan in his hod and will pourge his floure and gadre ye wheet into his garner and will burne ye chaffe with vnquecheable fyre

¹⁹ As many as I love I rebuke and chasten. Be fervent therfore and repet.

³ But Moses was a very meke man aboue all the men of the erthe.

¹⁵ And Moses waxed very angrye and sayed vnto the Lorde: Turne not vnto their offerynges. I haue not taken so moch as an asse from them nether haue vexed any of them.

²⁴ but are iustified frely by his grace through the redemcion that is in Christ Iesu ²⁵ whom God hath made a seate of mercy thorow faith in his bloud to shewe ye rightewesnes which before him is of valoure in yt he forgeveth ye synnes yt are passed which God dyd suffre ²⁶ to shewe at this tyme ye rightewesnes yt is alowed of him yt he myght be couted iuste and a iustifiar of him which belevith on Iesus.

²⁶ and so all Israel shalbe saved. As it is writte: There shall come oute of Sion he yt doth delyver and shall turne awaye the vngodlynes of Iacob. ²⁷ And this is my covenaunt vnto them when I shall take awaye their synnes.

³⁰ And vnto him partayne ye in Christ Iesu which of God is made vnto vs wysdome and also rightewesnes and saunctifyinge and redempcion.

²¹ for he hath made him to be synne for vs which knewe no synne that we by his meanes shuld be that rightewesnes which before God is aloved.

¹⁴ which gave him silfe for vs to redeme vs from all vnrightewesnes and to pourge vs a peculiar people vnto him silfe fervently geven vnto good workes.

¹⁸ For as moche as ye know how that ye were not redemed with corruptible sylver and golde from youre vayne conversacion which ye receaved by the tradicions of the fathers: ¹⁹ but with the precious bloud of Christ as of a lambe vndefiled and withouten spot

⁴⁵ But and yf the evyll servaunt shall saye in his hert: My master wyll differre his cominge and shall beginne to smyte the servauntes and maydens and to eate and drinke and to be dronken: ⁴⁶ the Lorde of that servaunt will come in a daye when he thinketh not and at an houre when he is not ware and will devyde him and will geve him his rewarde with the vnbelevers.

³ When they shall saye peace and no daunger than commeth on the soden destruccion as the travalynge of a woma with childe and they shall not scape.

⁸ in flammynge fyre rendrynge vengeaunce vnto them that knowe not God and to them that obeye not vnto the gospell of oure Lorde Iesus Christ ⁹ which shalbe punysshed with everlastynge damnacion from the presence of the lorde and from the glory of his power

⁷ But the heves verely and erth which are now are kept by the same worde in store and reserved vnto fyre agaynst the daye of iudgement and perdicion of vngodly men.

⁸ But the fearefull and vnbelevynge and the abhominable and murdrers and whormongers and sorcerers and ydolaters and all lyars shall have their parte in the lake which burnyth with fyre and brymstone which is the seconde deth.

²¹ What frute had ye then in tho thinges wher of ye are now ashamed. For the ende of tho thynges is deeth.

¹⁹ and spyed a fygge trre in the waye and came to it and founde nothinge theron but leves only and sayd to it never frute growe on the hence forwardes. And ano the fygge tree wyddered awaye.

¹⁰ Euenowe is ye axe put vnto ye rote of ye trees: soo that every tree which bringeth not forthe goode frute is hewe doune and cast into ye fyre.

⁴³ where there worme dyeth not and the fyre never goeth oute. ⁴⁴ Lykewyse yf thy fote offende the cut him of. For it is better for the to goo halt into lyfe then havynge two fete to be cast into hell into fyre that never shalbe quenched: ⁴⁵ where there worme dyeth not and the fyre never goeth oute. ⁴⁶ Even so yf thyne eye offende the plucke him oute. It is better for the to goo into the kyngdom of god with one eye then havynge two eyes to be caste into hell fyre: ⁴⁷ where there worme dyeth not and the fyre never goeth oute. ⁴⁸ Every man therfore shalbe salted wt fyre: And every sacrifise shalbe seasoned with salt. ⁴⁹ Salt is good. But yf ye salt be vnsavery: what shall ye salte therwith? Se yt ye have salt in youre selves: and have peace amonge youre selves one with another.

¹⁴ And heven vanysshed awaye as a scroll whe it is rolled togedder. And all mountayns and yles were moved oute of their places. ¹⁵ And the kynges of the erth and the gret men and the ryche men and the chefe captaynes and the myghty men and every bond man and every free man hyd them selves in dennes and in rockes of the hylles ¹⁶ and sayde to the hylles and rockes: fall on vs and hyde vs from the presence of him that sytteth on the seate and from the wrath of the lambe ¹⁷ for the grete daye of hys wrath ys come And who can endure it.

¹⁰ the same shall drynke of the wyne of the wrath of God which is powred in the cuppe of his wrath. And he shalbe punnysshed in fyre and brymstone before the holy Angels and before the lambe. ¹¹ And the smoke of their turment ascendeth vp evermore. And they have no rest daye ner nyght which worshippe ye beast and his ymage and whosoever receaveth the prynt of his name.

²⁰ And the beste was take and with him that falce prophett that wrought myracles before him with which he desceaved the that receaved ye beestes marke and them that worshipped his ymage. These both were cast into a pode of fyre burnyge with brymstone:

¹⁰ and the devyll that desceaved them was cast into a lake of fyre and brymstone where the beest and the falce prophet were and shalbe tormented daye and nyght for ever more.
