³¹ And Moses went agayne vnto the Lorde and sayde: Oh, this people haue synned a great synne and haue made the a god of golde: ³² Yet forgeue them their synne I praye the: Yf not wype me out of thy boke which thou hast written.

¹³ And Moses sayed vnto the Lorde: then the Egiptians shall heare it for thou broughtest this people with thy mighte from amonge them. ¹⁴ And it wilbe tolde to the inhabiters of this lande also for they haue herde likewise that thou the Lorde art amoge this people ad yt thou art sene face to face and yt thy cloude stondeth ouer them and that thou goest before them by daye tyme in a piler of a cloude and in a piler of fyre by nyght. ¹⁵ Yf thou shalt kill all this people as thei were but one ma then the nacions which haue herde the fame of the will speake sayenge: ¹⁶ because ye Lorde was not able to bringe in this people in to ye londe which he swore vnto them therfore he slewe them in the wildernesse. ¹⁷ So now lat the power of my Lord be greate acordynge as thou hast spoken sayenge: ¹⁸ the Lorde is longe yet he be angrye ad full of mercy and suffereth synne and trespace and leaueth no man innocent and visiteth the vnryghtuousnesse of the fathers vppon ye childern eue vpo yt thirde and fourth generacion. ¹⁹ be mercyfull I beseche ye therfore vnto ye synne of this people acordinge vnto thi greate mercy and acordinge as thou hast forgeue this people from Egipte euen vnto this place. ²⁰ And the Lorde sayed: I haue forgeue it acordynge to thy request.

And they fell apon theyr faces. ⁴⁶ And Moses sayde vnto Aaron: take a censer and put fyre therein out of the alter and poure on cens and goo quyckly vnto the cogregacion and make an attonement for the. For there is wrath gone oute from the Lorde and there is a plage begone. ⁴⁷ And Aaron toke as Moses commaunded him and ran vnto the congregacion: and beholde the plage was begone amonge the people and he put on cens and made an attonement for the people. ⁴⁸ And he stode betwene the deed and them that were alyue and the plage ceased.

⁷ And the people came to Moses and sayed: we haue synned for we haue spoken agenst the Lorde and agenst the make intercession to the Lorde that he take awaye the serpentes from us And Moses made intercession for the people.

¹⁹ For I was afrayed of the wrath and fearsnesse wherwith the Lord was angrie with you, eue for to haue destroyed you But the Lorde herde my peticion at that tyme also. ²⁰ The Lorde was very angrie with Aaron also, eue for to haue destroyed him: But I made intercession for Aaro also the same tyme.

²⁴ Then answered Simon and sayde: Praye ye to the lorde for me yt none of these thinges whiche ye have spoken fall on me.

¹² how (sayde I) can I myselfe alone, beare the combraunce, charge and stryffe that is amonge you:

⁵ whe the Lorde hath broughte the i to the lode of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Heuites ad Iebusites, which he sware vnto thi fathers that he wolde geue the: a londe where in milke ad honye floweth, the se that thou kepe this servyce in this same moneth.

¹¹ I am ye good shepeheerd. The good shepeheerd geveth his lyfe for ye shepe.

¹⁹ My littel children (of whom I travayle in birth againe vntill Christ be fassioned in you)

⁷ but we were tender amonge you even as a norsse cheressheth her children

³³ And his disciples sayd vnto him: whece shuld we get so moche breed in ye wildernes as shuld suffise so greate a multitude?

⁴ And his disciples answered him: where shuld a man have breade here in the wildernes to satisfie these?

²³ And streygth waye the father of the chylde cryed with teares sayinge: Lorde I beleve helpe myne vnbelefe.

⁵ Then Iesus lifte vp his eyes and sawe a greate copany come vnto him and sayde vnto Philip: whence shall we bye breed yt these might eate. ⁶ This he sayde to prove him: for he him sylfe knewe what he wolde do. ⁷ Philip answered him two hondred peny worthe of breed are not sufficient for them yt every ma have a litell. ⁸ Then sayde vnto him one of his disciples Andrew Simon Peters brother. ⁹ There ys a lad here which hath fyve barly loves and two fisshes: but what is that amoge so many?

¹⁸ Thou doest vnwysely and also this people that is with the: because the thinge is to greuous for the, and thou art not able to do it thi selfe alone.

⁹ And I sayde vnto yov the same season: I am not able to bere you myselfe alone. ¹⁰ For the Lorde youre God hath multiplyed you: so that ye are this daye as the starres of heauen in numbre ¹¹ (the Lorde god of youre fathers make you a thousande tymes so many moo as ye are, and blesse you as he hath promysed you) ¹² how (sayde I) can I myselfe alone, beare the combraunce, charge and stryffe that is amonge you:

¹⁶ To the one parte are we ye savoure of deeth vnto deeth. And vnto the other parte are we the savoure of lyfe vnto lyfe. And who is mete vnto these thinges?

³² Yet forgeue them their synne I praye the: Yf not wype me out of thy boke which thou hast written.

³ Now therfore take my life from me for I had leuer dye then liue.

⁸ And assone as the sonne was vpp God prepared a feruent eest winde: so that ye sonne bete ouer the heed of Ionas that he fainted agayne ad wished vn to hys soule that he might dye and sayd it is better for me to dye then to liue. ⁹ And god sayd vn to Ionas art thou so angre for thy wildvine? And he sayde I am angrie a goode even on to the deeth.

²⁰ as I hertely loke for and hope that in nothinge I shalbe ashamed: but that with all confidence as all wayes in tymes past even so now Christ shalbe magnified in my body whether it be thorowe lyfe or els deeth. ²¹ For Christ is to me lyfe and deeth is to me a vauntage. ²² Yf it chaunce me to live in the flesshe that is to me frutefull forto worke and what to chose I wote not. ²³ I am constrayned of two thinges: I desyre to be lowsed and to be with Christ which thinge is best of all. ²⁴ Neverthelesse to abyde in the flesshe is moare nedfull for you.

⁴ and let pacience have her parfect worke that ye maye be parfecte and sounde lackinge nothinge.

²⁷ And the sonnes of Ioseph which were borne him in egipte were .ij. soules: So that all the soulles of the house of Iacob which came in to Egipte are lxx.

²⁹ So went Moses and Aaron and gatherd all the elders of the childern of Israel.

¹ And he sayde vnto Moses: come vnto the Lorde: both thou and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the .lxx. elders of Israel, and worshippe a ferre of.

⁹ Then went Moses and Aaron, Nadab ad Abihu and the .lxx. elders of Israel vppe,

¹⁵ And then I toke the heedes of youre trybes, men of wysdome and that were expert, and made them ruelers ouer you: captaynes ouer thousandes and ouer hundredes ouer fyftye and ouer ten, and officers amonge youre trybes.

¹⁸ Ivdges and officers thou shalt make the in all thi cities which the Lorde thi God geueth the thorow out thi trybes. and lett the iudge the people righteously.

²⁸ Gather vnto me al the elders of youre trybes and youre officers, that I maye speake these wordes in their eares and call heaue ad erth to recorde agenst them.

¹ After these thinges the Lorde apoynted other seventie also and sent them two and two before him into every citie and place whither he him silfe wolde come.

¹⁷ And the sevetie returned agayne with ioye sayinge: Lorde even the very devyls are subdued to vs thorowe thy name.

⁵ And the LORde came downe to see the cyte and the toure which the childern of Ada had buylded.

³ And Abra fell on his face. And God talked moreover with hym saynge:

²² And God left of talkynge with him and departed vp from Abraham.

²⁰ And the LORde sayde? The crie of Sodome and Gomorra is great and there synne is excedynge grevous. ²¹ I will go downe and see whether they haue done all to gedder acordynge to that crye which is come vnto me or not that I may knowe. ²² And the me departed thece and went to Sodomeward. But Abraham stode yet before ye LORde

³³ And the LORde wet his waye as soone as he had lefte comenynge with Abraha. And Abraham returned vnto his place

²² And let them iudge the people at all seasons: Yf there be any greate matter, let them brynge that vnto the, and let them iudge all small causes them selues, and ease thi selfe, ad let them bere with the.

¹¹ that they maye be redie agaynst the thyrde daye. For the thyrde daye the Lorde will come doune in the sighte of all the people vpon mounte Sinai.

²⁰ And the Lord came doune vppon mounte Sinai: euen in the toppe of the hyll, ad called Moses vp in to the toppe of the hyll. And Moses went vppe.

⁵ And the Lorde desceded in the cloude, ad stode with him there: ad he called apo the name of the Lorde.

²⁵ And the Lorde came doune in a cloude and spake vnto him ad toke of the sprete that was apon him ad put it apon the .lxx. elders. And as the spirite rested apon them they prophecied and did nought els.

⁵ And the Lorde came doune in the piler of the cloude and stode in the dore of the tabernacle and called Aaron ad Mir Iam. And they went out both of them.

⁸ Vnto him I speake mouth to mouth and he seeth the syght and the facyon of the Lorde ad not thorow rydels. Wherfore the were ye not afrayed to speake agenst my servaunte Moses?

¹⁸ And ye Lorde sayed vnto Moses: take Iosua the sonne of Nun in whom there is spirite and put thyne handes apon him

¹³ And no man ascendeth vp to heaven but he that came doune from heaven that is to saye the sonne of man which is in heaven.

³⁹ This spak he of the sprete which they that beleved on him shuld receave. For the holy goost was not yet there because that Iesus was not yet glorifyed.

³ Wherfore brethren loke ye out amoge you seven men of honest reporte and full of the holy goost and wysdome which we maye apoynte to this nedfull busynes. ⁴ But we will geve oure selves cotinually to prayer and to the ministracion of ye worde.

⁹ But ye are not geven to the flesshe but to the sprete: yf so be that ye sprite of God dwell in you. If ther be eny man yt hath not ye sprite of Christ ye same is none of his.

¹² And we have not receaved the sprete of ye worlde: but the sprete which cometh of god for to knowe the thinges that are geve to vs of god

⁴ Ther are diversities of gyftes verely yet but one sprete. ⁵ And ther are differences of administracions and yet but one lorde. ⁶ And ther are divers maners of operacions and yet but one God which worketh all thinges that are wrought in all creatures. ⁷ The gyftes of ye sprete are geven to every man to proffit ye congregacion. ⁸ To one is geven thorow the spirite the vtteraunce of wisdome? To another is geven the vtteraunce of knowledge by ye same sprete. ⁹ To another is geuen fayth by ye same sprete. To another ye gyftes of healynge by the same sprete. ¹⁰ To another power to do myracles. To another prophesie? To another iudgement of spretes. To another divers tonges. To another the interpretacion of toges. ¹¹ And these all worketh eve ye silfe same sprete devydynge to every man severall gyftes even as he will.

⁸ He therfore that despiseth despiseth not man but God which hath sent his holy sprete amonge you.

²² And for as moche as ye have purified youre soules thorowe the sprete in obeyinge the trueth for to love brotherly withouten saynynge se that ye love one another with a pure hert fervently:

¹⁹ These are makers of sectes fleshlie havynge no sprete.

² Than sayd Iacob vnto his housholde and to all yt were with him put away the strauge goddes that are amonge you and make youre selues cleane and chaunge youre garmetes

³ and sayde vnto them: wold to God we had dyed by the hande of the Lorde in the lande of Egipte, when we satt by the flessh pottes and ate bred oure belies full for ye haue broughte vs out in to this wildernesse to kyll this hole multitude for honger. ⁴ Than sayde the Lorde vnto Moses: beholde, I will rayne bred fro heaue doune to you, ad let the people goo out ad gather daye by daye, that I maye proue the whether they wil walke in my lawe or no. ⁵ The .vj. daye let the prepare that which they will brige in, ad let it be twise as moch as they gather in dayly. ⁶ And Moses ad Aaro sayde vnto all the childere of Israel: at euen he shall knowe that it is the Lorde, which broughte you out of the lade of Egipte ⁷ ad in the mornynge ye shall se the glorie of the Lorde: because he hath herde youre grudgynges agaynst the Lorde: for what are we that ye shuld murmure against vs.

¹⁰ And the Lorde sayde vnto Moses: Go vnto the people and sanctifie them to daye and tomorow, and let them wash their clothes:

¹⁵ And he sayde vnto the people: be redie agenst the thirde daye, and se that ye come not at youre wiues.

⁴ And the rascall people that was amonge them fell a lustynge And the childern of Ysrael also went to and wepte and sayde: who shall geue us flesh to eate? ⁵ we remembre the fysh which we shulde eate in Egipte for noughte and of the Cucumbers and melouns lekes onyouns and garleke. ⁶ But now oure soules ar dryed a waye for oure eyes loke on nothynge els saue apon Manna.

² and all the childern of Ysrael murmured agenst Moses and Aaron. And the hole congregacion sayed vnto them: wolde god that we had dyed in the lond of Egipte ether we wolde that we had dyed in thys wildernesse. ³ Wherfore hath the Lorde broughte vs vnto this londe to fall apon the swerde that both oure wyues and also oure childre shulde be a praye? is it not better that we returne vnto Egipte agayne?

³⁹ to who oure fathers wolde not obeye but cast it from them and in their hertes turned backe agayne into Egypte

⁸ And moreouer spake Moses. At eue the Lorde will geue you flesh to eate ad in the mornynge bred ynough, because the Lord hath herde youre murmur whiche ye murmur agaynst hi: for what ar we? youre murmurynge is not agaynst vs, but agaynst the Lorde.

¹³ And at eue the quayles came ad couered the groude where they laye. And in the mornynge the dewe laye rounde aboute the hoste.

⁴¹ Beholde ye despisers and wonder and perishe ye: for I do aworke in youre dayes which ye shall not beleve yf a ma wolde declare it you.

² And I wyll make of the a myghtie people and wyll blesse the and make thy name grete that thou mayst be a blessinge.

³⁷ Thus toke the childern of Israel their yourney fro Raemses to suchoth .vj. hundred thousand me of foote, besyde childern.

²⁶ Euery man offrynge halfe a sycle after the weyght of the holye sycle amonge them that went to be nombred from .xx. yere olde and aboue, amonge .vj. hundred thousande ad .iij. thousande ad v. hundred ad .l. men.

⁴⁶ drewe vnto the summe of syxe hundred thousande fyue hundred and .l.

³² These are ye sumes of ye childern of Ysrael in the housses of their fathers: euen all the nubres of the hostes with their copanies .vi. hudred thousande .iij. thousande .v. hudred and fyftie.

³⁷ He answered and sayde vnto them: geve ye the to eate. And they sayde vnto him: shall we goo and bye ii.C. penyworth of breed and geve the to eate?

¹⁸ And Zacharias sayde vnto ye angell: Wher by shall I knowe this? seinge that I am olde and my wyfe well stricken in yeares.

³⁴ Then sayd Mary vnto ye angell: How shall this be seinge I knowe not a man?

¹⁴ is the thinge to harde for the LORde to do? In the tyme appoynted will I returne vnto the as soone as the frute can haue lyfe And Sara shall haue a sonne.

¹⁹ The Lorde is not a ma that he can lye nether the sonne of a ma that he can repent: shulde he saye and not doo or shulde he speake and not make it good?

²⁶ Iesus behelde the and sayde vnto them: with men this is vnpossible but with God all thinges are possible.

³⁵ Heven and erth shall perisshe: but my wordes shall abyde.

³⁷ for wt god can nothinge be vnpossible.

¹⁶ And the Lorde sayde vnto Moses: gather vnto me .lxx. of the elders of Ysrael which thou knowest that they are the elders of ye peple and officers ouer them and brynge them vnto the tabernacle of witnesse and let them stonde there with the.

²⁶ But there remayned .ij. of ye me in the hoste: the one called Eldad ad the other Medad. And the spirite rested apon them for they were of them that were written but they wet not out vnto the tabernacle: and they prophecied in the hoste.

³⁸ for the clowde of the Lorde was apon the habitacion by daye, and fyre by nyghte: in the sighte of all the house of Israel in all their iornayes.

¹⁷ And I wyll come doune and talke with the there and take of yt spirite which is apon the and put apon them ad they shall bere with the in the burthen of the people and so shalt thou not beare alone.

³⁴ Whyll he thus spake ther came a cloude and shadowed them: and they feared when they were come vnder the cloude. ³⁵ And ther came a voyce out of the cloude sayinge: This is my deare sonne heare him.

¹⁷ It shalbe in the last dayes sayth God: of my sprete I will powre out vpon all flesshe. And youre sonnes and youre doughters shall prophesy and youre yoge men shall se visions and youre olde me shall dreme dremes. ¹⁸ And on my servauts and on my honde maydens I will powre out of my sprete in those dayes and they shall prophesye.

²⁸ And ther stode vp one of them named Agabus and signified by the sprete that ther shuld be great derth throughoute all the worlde which came to passe in ye Emproure Claudius dayes.

⁹ The same man had fower doughters virges which dyd prophesy. ¹⁰ And as we taried there a good many dayes there came a certayne prophete from Iurie named Agabus. ¹¹ When he was come vnto vs he toke Pauls gerdell and bounde his hondes and fete and sayde: thus saith the holy goost: so shall ye Iewes at Ierusalem bynde the man yt oweth this gerdell and shall delyver him into the hondes of the gentyls.

⁴ Eevery ma prayinge or prophesyinge havynge eny thynge on his heed shameth his heed. ⁵ Every woman that prayeth or prophisieth bare hedded dishonesteth hyr heed. For it is even all one and the very same thinge even as though she were shaven.

¹ Labour for love and covet spretuall giftes: and most chefly forto prophesye. ² For he that speaketh with toges speaketh not vnto men but vnto god for no man heareth him how be it in the sprete he speaketh misteries. ³ But he that prophesieth speaketh vnto men to edifyinge to exhortacion and to comforte.

³² For ye spretes of the Prophetes are in the power of the Prophetes.

¹⁷ Every good gyfte and every parfayt gyft is from above and commeth doune fro the father of light with whom is no variablenes nether is he chaunged vnto darcknes.

²¹ For the scripture came never by the will of man: but holy men of god spake as they were moved by the holy goost.

¹¹ And Moses sayde vnto God: what am I to goo to Pharao and to brynge the children of Israell out of Egipte?

¹³ And he sayde: oh my Lorde, send I pray the whome thou wilt. ¹⁴ And the Lorde was angrie with Moses and sayde: I knowe Aaro thy brother the leuite that he can speake. And morouer behold, he cometh out agaynst the, ad whe he seyth the, he wilbe glad i his hert.

⁹ And Moses sayde vnto Iosua: chose out men and goo fighte with Amelech Tomorow I will stonde on the toppe of the hyll and the rodd of God in myne hande.

¹¹ And the Lorde spake vnto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh vnto his frende. And whem Moses turned agayne in to the hoste, the ladd Iosua his seruante the sonne of Nun departed not out of the tabernacle.

³⁸ But Iesus sayde forbid him not. For ther is no ma that shall do a miracle in my name that can lightlyge speake evyll of me. ³⁹ Whosoever is not agaynste you is on youre parte. ⁴⁰ And whosoever shall geve you a cuppe of water to drinke for my names sake because ye belonge to Christe verely I saye vnto you he shall not loose his rewarde.

⁴⁹ And Iohn answered and sayde: Master we sawe one castinge out devyls in thy name and we forbade him because he foloweth not with vs. ⁵⁰ And Iesus sayde vnto him: forbyd ye him not. For he that is not agaynst vs is wt vs.

²⁶ And they came vnto Iohn and sayde vnto him: Rabbi he that was with the beyonde Iordan to whom thou barest witnes. Beholde the same baptyseth and all me come to him.

³⁷ Wherfore praye the Lorde of the harvest to sende forthe laborers into hys harvest. ³⁸ And he called his .xii. disciples vnto hym and gave them power over vnclene sprites to cast them oute and to heale all maner of sicknesses and all maner of deseases.

² And he sayde vnto them the harvest is greate: but the laborers are feawe. Praye therfore the Lorde of ye harvest to send forth laborers into his hervest.

²⁹ And Paul sayd: I wolde to God that not only thou: but also all that heare me to daye were not sumwhat only but altogeder soche as I am except these bondes.

³ For ye are yet carnall. As longe verely as ther is amoge you envyige stryfe and dissencio: are ye not carnall and walke after ye manner of me?

²¹ Therfore let no ma reioyce in men. For all thinges are youres

⁴ Love suffreth longe and is corteous. Love envieth not. Love doth not frowardly swelleth not dealeth

⁵ I wolde that ye all spake with tonges: but rather that ye prophesied. For greater is he that prophisieth? then he yt speaketh with tonges except he expounde it also that the congregacion maye have edifyinge.

¹⁵ Some ther are which preache Christ of envie and stryfe and some of good wyll. ¹⁶ The one parte preacheth Christ of stryfe and not purely supposinge to adde more adversitie to my bondes. ¹⁷ The other parte of love because they se that I am set to defend the gospell. ¹⁸ What then? So that Christ be preached all maner wayes whether it be by occasion or of true meaninge I therin ioye: ye and will ioye.

³ that nothinge be done thorow stryfe or vayne glory but that in mekenes of mynde every man esteme other better then him selfe

¹⁴ But Yf ye have bitter envyinge and stryfe in youre hertes reioyce not: nether be lyars agaynst the trueth. ¹⁵ This wisdome descedeth not from a boue: but is erthy and naturall and divelisshe.

⁵ Ether do ye thinke that the scripture sayth in vayne The sprite that dwelleth in you lusteth eve contrary to envie:

⁹ Grodge not one agaynst another brethre lest ye be dapned. Beholde the iudge stondeth before the dore.

¹ Wherfore laye asyde all maliciousnes and all gyle and dissimulacion and envie and all backbytynge:

¹³ And Moses stretched forth his rodd ouer the londe off Egipte, ad the Lorde brought an east wynde vppo the lande, all that daye and all nyghte. And in the mornynge the east wynde broughte the greshoppers,

¹⁹ ad the Lord turned the wynde in to a myghtie stronge west wynde, and it toke awaye the greshoppers and cast the in to the reed see: so that there was not one greshopper left in all the costes of Egipte

¹⁰ Thou bluest with thy breth ad the see couered the, and they sanke as leed in the myghtye waters.

³⁶ And a Gomer is the tenth parte of an Epha.

⁴⁹ And the numbre of them that dyed in the plage were .xiiij. thousande and seuen hundred: besyde them that dyed aboute the busynes of Corah.

⁹ And there dyed in the plage. xxiiij. thousande.

²⁷ And the Lorde will smyte the with the botches of Egipte and the emorodes, scalle and maungynesse, that thou shalt not be healed thereof.

¹⁶ And they remoued from the deserte of Sinai and lodged at the graues of lust.

¹⁶ And afterwarde they remoued from Hazeroth and pitched in ye wildernesse of Pharan.

¹⁷ And they departed from the sepulchres of lust ad laye at Haseroth.

¹ These be the wordes which Moses spake vnto all Israel, on the other syde Iordayne in the wildernesse and in the feldes by the red see, betwene Phara ad Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth and Disahab
