⁷ And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecute you me?

⁹ And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where are you?

⁸ And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence came you? and where will you go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

²² But you have not called upon me, O Jacob; but you have been weary of me, O Israel. ²³ You have not brought me the small cattle of your burnt offerings; neither have you honoured me with your sacrifices. I have not caused you to serve with an offering, nor wearied you with incense. ²⁴ You have bought me no sweet cane with money, neither have you filled me with the fat of your sacrifices: but you have made me to serve with your sins, you have wearied me with your iniquities. ²⁵ I, even I, am he that blots out your transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember your sins. ²⁶ Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare you, that you may be justified.

⁵ Thus says the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

⁹ Wherefore I will yet plead with you, says the LORD, and with your children's children will I plead.

⁴⁵ Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as all of you did it not to one of the least of these, all of you did it not to me.

²³ And the governor said, Why, what evil has he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

¹³ Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and prone to cause hurt: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
