¹⁰ And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

³⁶ And they were all amazed, and spoke among themselves, saying, What a word (o. logos) is this! for with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, (o. pneuma) and they come out.

⁴³ And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,

²⁰ For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all things that himself does: and he will show him greater works than these, that all of you may marvel.

³ Jesus answered, Neither has this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

¹⁸ But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight. ¹⁹ And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who all of you say was born blind? how then does he now see? ²⁰ His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind: ²¹ But by what means he now sees, we know not; or who has opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.

⁷ And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

¹² And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What means this?

² And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

¹⁴ And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. ¹⁵ But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, ¹⁶ Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle has been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.

²¹ So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done. ²² For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was showed.
