¹⁰ And Jacob said, Nay, I pray you, if now I have found grace in your sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen your face, as though I had seen the face of God, and you were pleased with me.

¹⁹ Behold now, your servant has found grace in your sight, and you have magnified your mercy, which you have showed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:

³⁰ And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

³ And Judah spoke unto him, saying, The man did solemnly protest unto us, saying, All of you shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

² Thus says the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

¹⁰ Take heed that all of you despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

⁴ And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
