¹³ O LORD our God, other lords beside you have had dominion over us: but by you only will we make mention of your name.

⁷ That all of you come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them:

⁸ Nevertheless they shall be his servants; that they may know my service, and the service of the kingdoms of the countries.

⁸ Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

¹¹ Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?

⁴ And in that day shall all of you say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

²² Thus says your Lord the LORD, and your God that pleads the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; you shall no more drink it again:

⁷ I will mention the loving kindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.

¹⁰ And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burns him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with you? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold your tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.

³² And all of you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

²² But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, all of you have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

⁷ For who makes you to differ from another? and what have you that you did not receive? now if you did receive it, why do you glory, as if you had not received it?

¹⁵ By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
