⁵⁶ For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

³⁹ But I say unto you, That all of you resist not evil: but whosoever shall strike you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.

¹⁰ Take heed that all of you despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

²⁸ Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

²⁷ But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, ²⁸ Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. ²⁹ And unto him that strikes you on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that takes away your cloak forbid not to take your coat also. ³⁰ Give to every man that asks of you; and of him that takes away your goods ask them not again. ³¹ And as all of you would that men should do to you, do all of you also to them likewise.

¹⁰ For the Son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

⁵¹ And Jesus answered and said, Suffer all of you thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

³⁴ Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

¹⁷ For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

¹⁰ The thief comes not, but in order to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
