⁶⁶ What think all of you? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

¹¹ And the Israelites woman's son blasphemed the name of the Lord, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:) ¹² And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might be showed them. ¹³ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, ¹⁴ Bring forth him that has cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him. ¹⁵ And you shall speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curses his God shall bear his sin. ¹⁶ And he that blasphemes the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemes the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.

⁷ The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

⁵² Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which showed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom all of you have been now the betrayers and murderers:

²⁷ For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him. ²⁸ And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.

⁶ All of you have condemned and killed the just; and he does not resist you.
