⁸ We therefore ought to welcome such, so that we may work together for the Truth.

¹⁴ And if anyone will not welcome you or heed your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town.

⁴⁰ He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives the One who sent Me.

⁷ And the one inside answers, ‘Do not bother me. My door is already shut and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up to give you anything.’

⁵ What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his role. ⁶ I planted the seed and Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. ⁷ So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. ⁸ He who plants and he who waters are one in purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. ⁹ For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.

¹⁰ If Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is doing the Lord’s work, just as I am. ¹¹ No one, then, should treat him with contempt. Send him on his way in peace so that he can return to me, for I am expecting him along with the brothers.

¹ As God’s fellow workers, we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.

² Make room for us in your hearts. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have exploited no one. ³ I am not saying this to condemn you, for [as] I said before, you have such a place in our hearts that we would live or die with you.

²³ As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker among you. As for our brothers, they are messengers of the churches to the glory of Christ.

³ Yes, and I ask you also, true yoke-fellow, to help these women who have struggled at my side in the cause of the gospel, together with Clement also and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

¹¹ Jesus, who is called Justus, also sends greetings. These are the only Jews among my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.

² We sent Timothy, our brother and God’s fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith,

¹⁰ So if I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, gossiping against us with evil words. And not satisfied with that, he refuses himself to welcome the brethren, and also stops those who want to welcome them and puts them out of the church.
