⁷ There an upright man might put his cause before him; and I would be free for ever from my judge.

³ "But I want to speak to the Almighty and to argue my case with God.

¹⁸ "Come now, and let us reason together," says the LORD: "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

⁵ Guards he eternally? Guards he in perpetuity? Behold, you word and work all the evil you can.

¹ You are righteous, O LORD, when I contend with you. Yet I would reason the case with you. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are all those at ease who deal very treacherously?

¹⁹ Now we know that whatever the Law says, it says to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. ²⁰ Therefore no flesh will be justified in his sight by works of the law, for through the law comes knowledge of sin. ²¹ But now the righteousness of God apart from the law has been revealed, being witnessed to by the Law and the Prophets, ²² And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction,

¹ Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

³³ Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. ³⁴ Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God—and He is interceding for us.
