¹⁴ Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these, saying: "Behold, the LORD came with many thousands of his holy ones.

¹⁸ When Jared had lived 162 years, he fathered Enoch.

²¹ When Enoch lived sixty-five years, he became the father of Methuselah. ²² After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years and had other sons and daughters. ²³ Enoch lived a total of 365 years. ²⁴ Enoch walked with God. Then he was no more, because God took (moved) him away.

² Then he said, "the LORD came from Sinai, and he dawned upon them from Seir; he shone forth from Mount Paran, and he came with myriads of holy ones, at his right hand a fiery law for them.

²⁵ But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives. In the end, he will stand upon the earth. ²⁶ Even after my skin has been destroyed, clothed in my flesh I will see God, ²⁷ "I will see him with my own eyes, not with someone else's. My heart fails inside me!

³ Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him. ⁴ He summons the heavens above and the earth that he might judge his people: ⁵ "Gather to me my loyal ones, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice."

⁹ I saw until thrones were placed, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool. His throne was fiery flames, and its wheels burning fire. ¹⁰ A stream of fire went out and came out from before Him. A thousand thousands served Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The judgment was set, and the books were opened.

⁵ "You will flee by the valley of my mountains. For the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel. Yes you will flee the same as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

²⁷ For the Son of Man will come in His Father’s glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has done.

³⁰ At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. ³¹ And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

³¹ When the Son of man comes in his glory and all the angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory,

¹³ so as to strengthen your hearts and make them blameless in holiness before our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones. [Amen.]

⁷ and to grant relief to you who are oppressed, and to us as well, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels ⁸ Taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁵ By faith Enoch was taken up so that he did not see death. He could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. ⁶ And without faith it is impossible to please God, for anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

⁷ Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him—even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen.
