²⁴ And for these ye shall be unclean: whoever touches their carcase shall be unclean until the evening. ²⁵ And whoever carrieth any of their carcases shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until evening. ²⁶ “'Every animal which has a split hoof that isn't completely divided, or doesn't chew the cud, is unclean to you. ⁴³ You must not defile yourselves with any swarmer that swarms, and you must not make yourselves unclean by them and so be made unclean by them, ⁴⁴ For I am the LORD, your God, and ye were consecrated and ye were holy, for I am holy: and ye shall not make your souls unclean by any creeping thing creeping upon the earth.
