Only then he will live. For these last 30 days I've not been summoned to come to the king." 12 And they said these words to Mordecai. 13 Mordecai sent this answer back to Esther: "Do not have the idea that you in the king's house will be safe from the fate of all the Jews. 14 For if you remain silent now, then relief and deliverance will come to the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. 1 Peter 2:18-21

18 Servants, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but even to those who are unreasonable. 19 For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God. 20 How is it to your credit if you are beaten for doing wrong and you endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. 21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps,

2 Peter 2:18-22

18 With lofty but empty words, they appeal to the sensual passions of the flesh and entice the ones who are just escaping from those who live in error. 19 They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves to corruption. For a man is a slave to whatever has overcome him. 20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled by them, and overcome, they are worse off in the end than at the beginning. 21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than to know it and turn their backs on the holy commandment that was committed to them. 22 Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.”

He will not die. 22 None of his transgressions that he has committed will be remembered against him. In his righteousness that he has done he will live. 23 '"Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Sovereign LORD, that he should turn from his ways and live? 24 But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits unrighteousness and does according to all the abominations that a wicked man does, will he live?
