¹¹ But the multitudes, perceiving it, followed him. He welcomed them, spoke to them of God’s Kingdom, and he cured those who needed healing.

They arrived before them and came together to him. ³⁴ Jesus came out, saw a great multitude, and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd, and he began to teach them many things.

⁵³ He has filled the hungry with good things. He has sent the rich away empty.

³¹ Jesus answered them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.

¹ Soon afterwards, he went about through cities and villages, preaching and bringing the good news of God’s Kingdom. With him were the twelve,

¹⁰ He said, “To you it is given to know the mysteries of God’s Kingdom, but to the rest in parables; that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

² He sent them out to preach God’s Kingdom and to heal the sick.

³⁴ Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.

³⁷ All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.

³¹ preaching God’s Kingdom, and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness, without hindrance.

¹⁴ How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?

¹⁷ So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

³ For even Christ didn’t please himself. But, as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.”

² preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching.

¹⁶ Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.
