¹⁹ Jesus perceived that they wanted to ask Him, and He said, "Is this what you are questioning one another about--my saying, 'A little while and you do not see me, and again a little while and you shall see me'?

⁸ Do not, however, imitate them; for your Father knows what things you need before ever you ask Him.

⁴ Knowing their thoughts Jesus said, "Why are you cherishing evil thoughts in your hearts?

³³ So they came to Capernaum; and when in the house He asked them, "What were you arguing about on the way?" ³⁴ But they remained silent; for on the way they had debated with one another who was the chief of them.

²⁴ But for His part, Jesus did not trust Himself to them, because He knew them all, ²⁵ and did not need any one's testimony concerning a man, for He of Himself knew what was in the man.

³³ So Jesus said, "Still for a short time I am with you, and then I go my way to Him who sent me.
