¹⁷ Otherwise, as God has distributed to each, as the Lord has called each one, so let him live (this is what I command in all the congregations).

¹² For there are eunuchs who were born that way, from their mother’s womb; and there are eunuchs who were castrated by men; and there are eunuchs who castrated themselves for the sake of the kingdom of the heavens. He who is able to assimilate it, let him assimilate.”

³ Based on the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to set your sights higher than you should, but set them sensibly, as God has apportioned a measure of faith to each. ⁴ Because just as in one body we have many parts, but all the parts do not have the same function, ⁵ so we, who are many, are one body in Christ and individually members of one another. ⁶ Since we have different spiritual gifts according to the grace that was given us, let us use them : if prophecy, according to the analogy of the Faith; ⁷ if serving, in the serving; if teaching, in the teaching; ⁸ if exhorting, in the exhortation; the sharer, with simplicity; the leader, with diligence; the mercy-shower, with cheerfulness.

¹⁷ That is why I sent you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, just as I teach everywhere in every congregation.

⁷ (though I wish that all men were even as I myself; but each has his own gift from God, one like this and one like that).

¹⁸ Was anyone already circumcised when called? Let him not reverse it. Was anyone uncircumcised when called? Let him not be circumcised.

²⁰ Let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called. ²¹ Were you called while a slave? Don’t let it bother you, but if you can really become free, do so.

²⁴ Brothers, let each one remain with God in the social condition in which he was called.

³³ Further, God is not a God of disorder but of peace. As in all the congregations of the saints,

¹ Now concerning the collection for the saints, you must do just as I instructed the congregations in Galatia.

¹⁸ But we have sent together with him the brother whose praise in the Gospel is throughout all the congregations;

²⁸ quite apart from the other things, my daily disturbances, my concern for all the congregations.

¹⁰ As each has received a gift, minister it to one another as good administrators of God’s varied grace. ¹¹ If anyone speaks, let it be as utterances of God. If anyone serves, let it be as from strength as God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion throughout the ages. Amen.
