² For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to full knowledge.

¹³ Now may the God of the hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in that hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

³ Because according to their ability, I bear witness, even beyond that ability, of their own accord,

¹⁴ so that the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through the faith.

¹⁹ My little children, for whom I am again in travail until Christ is formed in you

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

⁴ Let each one test his own work, and then do his ‘boasting’ only within himself, never to someone else.

¹³ I bear him witness that he has a great zeal for you, and for those in Laodicea and those in Hierapolis.

⁸ Yearning over you in this way, we were well pleased to share with you not only the Gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become dear to us.

¹³ and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.
