²⁵ At that time Jesus reacted and said: “‘I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to babes.

¹⁹ because those will be days of affliction such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and never again shall be.

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God . ² He Himself existed in the beginning with God. ³ All things came to be by Him; that is, apart from Him not even one thing that has come into being came to be.

²⁴ Well upon hearing it, with one mind they called out to God and said: “O Sovereign! You are God, the Maker of sky and earth and ocean, and all that is in them;

¹⁵ and saying: “Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, giving you good news, telling you to turn from these useless things to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them;

²⁴ The God who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples built by hands,

¹⁹ precisely because what may be known about God is evident among them, because God has shown it to them. ²⁰ Because His invisible attributes, namely His eternal power and divine nature, are clearly seen from the creation of the world, being understood from what has been made, so that they are inexcusable;

³⁶ Because from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.

⁶ yet for us there is one God, the Father, out of whom are all things and we into Him, and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and we through Him.

⁹ and to enlighten all as to the program of the secret that from the beginning of the ages has been hidden by the God who created all things through Jesus Christ;

¹⁶ because by Him all things were created —those in the heavens and those on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. ¹⁷ Yes, He is before all, and in Him all things subsist.

² has at the end of these days spoken to us by Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the ages;

¹⁰ Also: “You, LORD, in the beginning, laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are works of Your hands;

⁴ —every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God—

³ By faith we understand that the ages were created by a word from God, so that the things that are seen were made out of things invisible.

⁵ This because they deliberately forget that heavens and land (out of water and through water) had been existing from of old by the word of God,

¹ That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have witnessed with our eyes, that which we contemplated and our hands handled with reference to the word of the Life

¹⁴ “And to the messenger of the church in Laodicea write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the Originator of God’s creation:

¹¹ “You are worthy, our Lord and God, the Holy One, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created!”

⁶ and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there would be no further delay,

⁷ saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give Him glory, because the hour of His judging has come, and do obeisance to Him who made heaven and earth, the ocean and springs of water.”

⁶ Then He said to me, “I have become the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I will give of the spring of the water of Life freely.

¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, beginning and end, the First and the Last.”

³ So reaching out His hand Jesus touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed”. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

⁵ Now the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

⁹ the true Light which illumines everyone who comes into the world.

¹⁹ “Now this is the basis for the condemning, that the Light has come into the world, but the people loved the darkness rather than the light because their deeds were malignant.

⁴³ Upon saying these things He shouted with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”

⁶ because the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness is He who shined in our hearts to give the light that comes from the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

⁸ —even though you were once darkness, you are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

¹⁴ Therefore He says: “Wake up, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and the Christ will shine on you.”

¹⁶ who alone has immortality, residing in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen or can see; to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.

⁵ Now this is the message that we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and there is no darkness at all in Him.

⁸ Again, I am writing a new commandment to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true Light is already shining.

¹³ the work of each will become evident; because the Day will make it clear, because it will be revealed by fire. Yes, the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.

¹³ Now all things, upon being exposed, are revealed by the light, for whatever reveals is light.

⁵ You are all sons of light and sons of day; we are not of night, nor of darkness.

²⁷ So the men marveled, saying, “What sort of being is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

¹⁰ Indeed, already the ax is being laid to the root of the trees. So every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

³⁰ Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which exists today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, you little-faiths?

¹⁶ You will know them by their fruits. Do people gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? ¹⁷ Just so, every good tree produces good fruits, but the rotten tree produces evil fruits. ¹⁸ A good tree cannot produce evil fruits, nor can a rotten tree produce good fruits. ¹⁹ So every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. ²⁰ Therefore, you will know them by their fruits.

²⁸ All by itself the earth produces fruit: first a shoot, then a head of grain, then full grain in the head.

⁴³ “Now no good tree produces rotten fruit, not does a rotten tree produce good fruit ⁴⁴ —each tree is known by its own fruit: people do not gather figs from thorn bushes, nor do they pick a bunch of grapes from a bramble.

⁷ Now the ground that drinks in the rain that frequently falls on it and produces a crop useful to those for whom it is really cultivated receives blessing from God;

¹² Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grape vine figs? Thus no spring yields salt water and sweet.

²⁴ He put another parable to them, saying: “The kingdom of the heavens is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; ²⁵ but while the people were sleeping his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went away. ²⁶ But when the stalk sprouted and produced fruit, then the tares also appeared.

⁴⁴ —each tree is known by its own fruit: people do not gather figs from thorn bushes, nor do they pick a bunch of grapes from a bramble.

¹⁰ Now may He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the yield of your righteousness;

⁷ Do not be deceived, God does not allow Himself to be treated with contempt; because whatever a man sows, that he will also reap

² saying: “Where is he who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the East and have come to worship him.”

² But in answer He said to them: “When it is evening you say, ‘Fair weather, for the sky is red’; ³ and in the morning, ‘Today will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast’. Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky but cannot discern the signs of the times.

²⁹ “Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

²⁴ “But in those days, after that tribulation, ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light;

²⁵ “There will be signs in sun, moon, and stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, at the roaring and tossing of the sea; ²⁶ men fainting from fear and expectation of the things coming on the inhabited earth—because the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

⁴⁵ Yes, the sun was darkened; also, the veil of the temple was torn in two.

¹⁹ I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below: blood and fire and smoke vapor. ²⁰ The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into ‘blood’ before the great and glorious day of the LORD will come.

¹² And I saw, just when He opened the sixth seal—there was a severe earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.

¹² So the fourth angel trumpeted, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars so that a third of them was darkened; so a third of the day did not shine, and the night likewise.

² So he opened the shaft of the Abyss and smoke went up out of the shaft, like the smoke of a burning furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke from the shaft.

⁴⁵ Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour a darkness came over all the land.

⁴¹ There is one splendor of the sun, another splendor of the moon, and another splendor of the stars; and star differs from star in brightness.

⁸ Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was granted to him to burn the people with fire. ⁹ So the people were burned with severe burns, and they blasphemed the name of God, who has authority over these plagues. And they did not repent to give Him glory.

²³ And the city has no need of the sun or the moon, that they should shine on her, because the very glory of God illumines her, and the Lamb is her light.

⁴⁷ Because that is just how the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have set you to be a light for ethnic nations, that you should be for salvation up to the last place on earth’.”

²⁵ neither is He cared for by men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself has always given life and breath to all.

⁴⁰ For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of the sea monster, so will the Son of the Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

¹⁷ But Jesus answered them, “Until now, my Father works, I also work.”

²³ Jesus answered and said to him: “If anyone loves me he will keep my word. So my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

²⁰ Because you are bringing some strange things to our ears, and we would like to know what they might mean.”

²⁶ And from one blood He made every ethnic nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,

²⁸ because in Him we live and move and have our being. As also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring’. ²⁹ Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we ought not to think that the divinity is like gold or silver or stone—something shaped by human skill and imagination.

⁷ Indeed, a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.

¹⁸ So we all, contemplating as in a mirror the glory of the Lord with unveiled face, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, precisely from Lord Spirit.

⁴ among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

²⁴ and put on the new man, created in the likeness of God, in true righteousness and holiness.

¹⁵ He is the visible representation of the invisible God, ‘Firstborn’ over all creation,

¹⁰ and have put on the new one, who is being renewed into real knowledge according to the image of his creator,

⁶ rather, there is a place where someone testified saying: “What is man that You are mindful of him, or son of man that you care for him? ⁷ You made him lower than the angels, for a little while; You crowned him with glory and honor, ⁸ You subjected all things under his feet.” It follows that in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not so subjected. However, we do not yet see everything subjected to him, at present. ⁹ But we do see Jesus, who ‘was made lower than the angels, for a little while’ (in order to suffer death), ‘crowned with glory and honor’—this, by the grace of God, so that He\up6 [S]\up0 might taste death on behalf of everyone.

⁷ Every kind of animal and bird, reptile and sea creature, is tamed and has been tamed by the human race,

⁹ With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse the people who have been made in God’s likeness.

⁷ actually there are three who bear witness

⁴ So in answer He said to them: “Have you never read that the Creator at the beginning made them a male and a female?

⁶ But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female.

⁷ Indeed, a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. ⁸ For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; ⁹ and neither was man created for the woman, but woman for the man

¹⁰ You see, we are His ‘poem’, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance in order that we should walk in them.

²⁶ the mystery that has been hidden from past ages and generations, but now has been revealed to His saints;

³ who forbid to marry and to eat foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and really know the truth.

¹¹ Give us today our daily bread;

²⁵ Therefore, I say to you not to worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? ²⁶ Look at the birds of the air, that they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not superior to them?

¹⁷ Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, doing good, giving you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.”

⁴ For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
