⁹ Do not provide gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, ¹⁰ nor a knapsack for the road, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; because the worker is worthy of his food.

³ And He said to them: “Take nothing for the journey—neither staffs nor knapsack nor bread nor money, neither have two tunics apiece.

⁴ Do not carry a purse, nor a knapsack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the road.

³⁵ Then He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?” And they said, “Nothing”.
