³⁴ So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

¹⁵ So He touched her hand and the fever left her; and she got up and began to serve Him.

²⁹ Then He touched their eyes saying, “According to your faith let it be to you”.

³⁶ Seeing the crowds He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and prostrated, like sheep without a shepherd.

¹⁴ So when Jesus disembarked He saw a large crowd, and He had compassion on them and healed their sick.

³³ So when Jesus saw her crying, and the Jews who had come with her crying, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. ³⁴ And He said, “Where have you put him?” They say to Him, “Lord, come and see.” ³⁵ Jesus wept.

¹⁷ That is why He was obliged to become like those ‘brothers’ in all respects, so that He could be a merciful and faithful high priest, in what concerns God, with a view to making propitiation for the sins of the people.

¹⁵ For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but He was tested in all points, in similar ways, without sin. ¹⁶ So let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, that we may receive mercy and find grace, for timely help.
