⁷ When they finish their witness, the Beast of prey that comes up out of the Abyss will make war with them, overcome them and kill them

³² He said to them: “Go tell that ‘fox’, ‘Take note, I am casting out demons and performing cures today and tomorrow, and on the third I will be perfected’.

⁴ I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work that You have given me to do.

³⁰ Then, when He had received the sour wine, Jesus said, “Paid in full!!” And bowing His head He dismissed His spirit.

²⁴ However none of this moves me, nor do I regard my life as valuable to myself, just so that I may complete my course with joy, even the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to solemnly proclaim the Good News of the grace of God.

⁸ And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and abolish by the splendor of His coming; ⁹ that one’s coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

¹ So the fifth angel trumpeted, and I saw a ‘star’ that had fallen out of the sky to the earth. And to him was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. ² So he opened the shaft of the Abyss and smoke went up out of the shaft, like the smoke of a burning furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke from the shaft.

³ And I will give authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”

¹ Now I was standing on the seashore, and I saw a Beast of prey coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten diadems and on his heads blasphemous names. ² The beast that I saw was similar to a leopard, his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. ³ And one of his heads was as if it had been mortally wounded, but his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth marveled after the Beast. ⁴ And they did obeisance to the dragon who had given the authority to the Beast, and they did obeisance to the Beast saying, “Who is like the Beast, and who is able to make war with him?”

⁷ And it was given to him to make war with the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given him over every tribe and language and ethnic nation.

¹¹ Now I saw another beast of prey coming up out of the land, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.

¹⁶ And he causes everyone—both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave—to receive marks on their right hand or on their foreheads, ¹⁷ so that no one would be able to buy or sell who does not have the mark, the name of the Beast or the number of his name.

⁶ And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, even with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And upon seeing her I was tremendously impressed. ⁷ So the angel said to me: “Why are you impressed? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast, having the seven heads and the ten horns, that carries her. ⁸ The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the Abyss and to go into perdition. And those who dwell upon the earth will be amazed, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not and will be present.

¹⁹ And I saw the Beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the One riding the horse and against His army. ²⁰ So the Beast was captured, and with him the False prophet, the one who performed signs in his presence (by which he had deceived those who had received the mark of the Beast and those who worshipped his image). The two were thrown alive into the Lake of Fire that burns with brimstone.
