¹⁷ because in it God’s righteousness is revealed, from faith to faith; just as it is written: “The righteous one will live by faith.”

³⁶ The one believing into the Son has eternal life, but the one disobeying the Son will not see the life, but the wrath of God will remain upon him.”

³ So, what if some did not believe? Their unbelief will not nullify God’s faithfulness, will it?

²¹ But now, apart from law, a righteousness from God has been revealed, being attested by the Law and the Prophets,

³⁰ So what shall we say? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, attained to righteousness, namely the righteousness that comes from faith;

¹¹ Further, it is evident that no one is justified by the law before God, because “the righteous will live by faith”.

⁹ and be found in Him, not having as my righteousness that of the Law but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness of God based on faith;

³⁸ Now the righteous one will live by faith, yet if he backs away, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

⁶ Now without faith it is impossible to please Him, because the one approaching God must believe that He exists and that He becomes a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him. ⁷ By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that is according to faith.
