²¹ He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things which thy eyes have seen.

² The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

³² For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven to the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it? ³³ Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking from the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live? ³⁴ Or hath God essayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by an out-stretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? ³⁵ To thee it was shown, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none besides him.

²⁴ Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

²³ And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?

³ (22:2)O my God, I cry in the day-time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
