⁷ Know ye therefore, that they who are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

³ Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

⁹ And Jesus said to him, This day is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

³¹ So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

³⁹ They answered and said to him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith to them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

¹¹ And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith, which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they are not circumcised, that righteousness might be imputed to them also; ¹² And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham which he had being yet uncircumcised. ¹³ For the promise that he should be the heir of the world was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. ¹⁴ For if they who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of no effect. ¹⁵ Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. ¹⁶ Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all;

²⁴ But for us also, to whom it will be imputed, if we believe on him that raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,

⁷ Neither because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. ⁸ That is, They who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

⁹ So then they who are of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

²⁶ For ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. ²⁷ For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ, have put on Christ. ²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. ²⁹ And if ye are Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

²³ Know ye, that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
