¹ I Made a covenant with my eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?

For the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses to justification. ¹⁷ For if by one man's offense death reigned by one; much more they who receive abundance of grace, and of the gift of righteousness, shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. ¹⁸ Therefore, as by the offense of one, judgment came upon all men to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men to justification of life. ¹⁹ For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

¹⁴ And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

¹⁴ But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. ¹⁵ Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

¹⁶ For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
