⁹ But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt-sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the LORD. ¹⁰ And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt-sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.

¹⁰ For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thy Holy One to see corruption.

He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. ¹⁰ By which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ¹¹ And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: ¹² But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, for ever sat down on the right hand of God;

¹⁵ By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name. ¹⁶ But to do good, and to communicate, forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

¹⁹ But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: ²⁰ Who verily was fore-ordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifested in these last times for you, ²¹ Who by him do believe in God, that raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

¹⁸ For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the Spirit:
